El entorno de The Moorings es realmente bastante especial, ya que ofrece impresionantes vistas al mar de la Bahía de Cemaes hasta la tierra del National Trust.

En cualquier época del año, esta hermosa propiedad ofrece vistas excepcionales del puerto y la Bahía de Cemaes desde la terraza acristalada, el salón y dos de las habitaciones.

Cemaes es un pequeño pueblo de pescadores con coloridas casas, tiendas (oficinas de correos, farmacias, tiendas del pueblo), pubs, cafeterías y consultorios médicos. Se encuentra en la costa norte de Anglesey y es un buen punto de partida para caminatas costeras y observación de aves. Hay una reserva natural a pocos kilómetros de distancia en Cemlyn, que es famosa por su observación de aves y Church Bay, a lo largo de la costa, cuenta con una hermosa playa con bistros que sirven langosta y cangrejo capturados localmente.

En el extremo oriental del pueblo hay una playa amplia, plana y arenosa que ofrece un excelente lugar para tomar el sol, nadar y practicar deportes acuáticos.

Este apartamento puede alojar hasta 9, reserve en combinación con The View @ The Moorings para alojar a un grupo de hasta 14.



Descripción de propiedad

Cocina
La cocina es espaciosa. Está bien equipado con cocina, lavavajillas, nevera, congelador, hervidor de agua, cafetera, tostadora, microondas, lavadora y secadora.

Envolver alrededor de la sala de sol
Una larga mesa de madera en el amplio comedor donde las ventanas panorámicas ofrecen impresionantes vistas del mar y la bahía. También hay una cómoda área de descanso, un sofá de dos plazas de caña, dos sillas individuales y un banco, ¡ideal para disfrutar de un café por la mañana mientras observa cómo la marea va y viene!

Salón
El amplio y luminoso salón bien proporcionado tiene el original fuego de madera adornado con un quemador de leña integrado, perfecto para proporcionar un brillo acogedor y calidez en una noche de invierno. El techo de vigas blancas y las puertas con paneles de vidrio dan una sensación de ligereza y amplitud realzada por las espectaculares vistas al mar. Hay un sofá de 3 plazas, tres sillones, un televisor de 43 pulgadas con TDT y reproductor de DVD y un altavoz Bluetooth. Los libros y DVD se encuentran en los estantes de la cómoda.

Dormitorio 1: en suite
Cama King con colchón nuevo "Eve" y vistas al mar a través de la bahía. El techo con vigas blancas aporta mucho carácter a esta habitación doble que también contiene armarios a juego y un armario triple con estantes para un amplio espacio de almacenamiento. El pequeño baño privado (recientemente agregado en 2019) contiene una potente ducha, toallero eléctrico y baño.

Dormitorio 2
Esta habitación contiene dos juegos de literas (1 es una litera triple con una doble en la parte inferior). También hay un armario doble con sorteos, 2 sorteos más debajo del hermoso asiento junto a la ventana con vistas a la playa y un par de bolsitas de frijoles.

Esta habitación doble contiene mesitas de noche y una cómoda en el armario empotrado.

Baño
Un baño de azulejos blancos contiene una bañera grande con ducha, inodoro, lavabo y toallero eléctrico.

Ducha
Al lado del baño hay un amplio cuarto de baño con ducha, inodoro, lavabo y toallero eléctrico.

Entretenimiento


Televisor de 43 pulgadas, Freesat, reproductor de DVD con selección de DVD, altavoz Bluetooth y una selección de juegos y libros en la sala de estar y terraza acristalada (explore el cofre marino). Se proporcionan un par de binoculares: ¡puede que solo veas un sello y la observación de aves se convierta en un hábito!

Fuera de


Se puede acceder a una terraza privada con mesa y sillas para The Moorings a través de la terraza acristalada. La propiedad tiene la ventaja de un gran jardín con vistas a la bahía que se comparte con el apartamento de arriba.

Hay otra área de terraza encaramada en el acantilado, ¡otro lugar perfecto para leer el periódico de la mañana!

El equipo de playa que incluye tumbonas, líneas de cangrejos, cubos y palas están disponibles en el área de almacenamiento del jardín. Hay un área para colgar cubierta para que los trajes de neopreno se sequen y la línea de lavado en el jardín.

Hay estacionamiento fuera de la carretera para dos vehículos, con espacios de estacionamiento gratuitos adicionales a solo unos metros al lado del malecón.

El acceso a la propiedad es a través de escalones, todos con pasamanos: 4 escalones desde la puerta del jardín inferior y 11 escalones desde el estacionamiento. Una vez dentro del apartamento está en un nivel que no sea bajar a la terraza acristalada.

Beautiful place to stay

Perfect location with superb views of the bay. We found the accommodation extremely spacious, very clean, with everything that we required. It was a highly enjoyable stay and we would love to return again.

Excellent Holiday Accommadation

Fantastic holiday home with everything you need. From the lovely views from the sun room and the balcony, to the well stock kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved our stay in The Moorings, and we have already booked a week for next year.

Excellent Stay

This was our second stay at The Moorings, and again we weren't disappointed. The new extended decking area is an excellent space to relax and take in the fantastic view. Overall we would highly recommend The Moorings as a fantastic property to holiday in, and we will be staying again in the future.

Wonderful to look out to sea .The houseneeds some work done as does the garden.The step from the lounge to conservatory is dangerous as it is made of paving stones.The shed for wet suits needs much work as does the outside of it.bedrooms very comfortable.To many steps.

Perfect family base for seaside holiday

What a view, what a location! The whole bay spread out in front of you, so you can keep an eye on kids from the garden or sun room as they explore beaches, rock pools, the huge garden. Just minutes walk from harbour, pub, shop and chippy and a hop over the wall ladder to the beach. Sunshine throughout the day , just choose where you want to soak it up! Lovely variety of sitting and dining areas. Beds good, pillows hard as bricks, 2 showers, and bath, so plenty of space. Kitchen well equipped if tricky to navigate for more than one cook. V useful outdoor shed for wetsuits etc.

Superb property, wonderful view

We had a wonderful four day stay at The Moorings. The property was very clean and probably the best-equipped house we've ever stayed in. The views over the bay are second to none and we loved watching the changing tides. There are superb walks right from the cottage, one of which was the best walk we've ever done. The village has a couple of handy local shops and good pubs and restaurants. I also want to thank the owners who very kindly let us change our dates at the last minute due to a serous family issue. We'll be back!

A great place to relax

Have spent a lovely holiday at The Moorings (ground floor apartment). The location is superb – such a lovely sea view from many of the rooms, especially the dining room and the garden, which is huge. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. Good to have 3 bathrooms. Nice comfy beds. Outside drying room is great place to hang wet suits when children come off the beach. Great customer service from Coastal Holidays. Would thoroughly recommend both them and the property. We’ve already booked to go back next year!

We have stayed here 3 times now and always find the place spot on. Its just so comfortable and handy for us to use as a base for all the water sports and walking we love doing on and around Anglesey.

A great stay

The Moorings is a great place to relax and watch the world go by. I could spend hours in the sun room overlooking the bay with that stunning view. The property is spacious, clean and has lots of character. The kitchen is very well equipped. Information provided from the owners in the manual is excellent and very helpful. The Bay itself is quiet but has the basic amenities: a general shop, butchers, pharmacy, pub etc. There's coastal walks right on the doorstep too. We took my 80 yr old dad and I'd say it wasn't really suitable accessibility-wise both in and outside of the property there are a lot of steps, sloping garden and slippery surfaces. Unfortunately two of us fell whilst inside the property. The bathrooms could also do with an update. Other than that it was perfect!

Wundervolle Lage, wunderbares Grundstück und ein sehr schönes Haus. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben, aber der Urlaub geht zu Ende. Wir kommen sicher wieder hierher und werden die Unterkunft gerne weiter empfehlen.

Amazing place to stay!

We stayed at The Moorings as a family of 6 and had an amazing week! The Moorings was exceptionally clean and spacious, views were breathtaking and facilities were plentiful. Ideally located for walks around the bay and we found lots of very quiet beaches long the coastal trails. We greatly enjoyed our stay and definitely will be returning next year!

A Special Place for a Special Birthday

I almost don’t want to post this review as I want to keep The Moorings a secret but that wouldn’t be fair on the owners or prospective clients. The downstairs apartment is large and roomy and the views are to die for. It’s such a relaxing place, you have to drag yourself out, but it’s definitely worthwhile, such a beautiful area. The apartment has everything you need & very clean. Note: there’s an additional 40 min journey when you cross over to the island but it is worth the extra time. We will return.

An idyllic birthday weekend at the Moorings

To celebrate my husband's birthday we booked the Moorings for some of the family and the remainder of our party stayed a sort distance away in a separate property. The location is truly stunning but gaining entry in the dark on the Friday evening proved difficult. There is another door which also has a key safe but this is not in use. I feel it would benefit future guests if this was made clear. The property is extremely spacious with comfortable beds and adequate facilities. The views from the dining room are spectacular. The weather was glorious so we were able to take full advantage of them The kitchen is very well equipped but when we arrived on the Friday evening the dishwasher had not been switched on so we were short of cutlery. We purchases dishwasher tablets from the local shop on Saturday morning. I had to check before arrival if towels were privided which they were but again this could be made clearer. The log burner was wonderful and very easy to use. Firelighters and logs were provided which was a lovely touch. We replaced these before leaving. Overall I would definitely recommend this property and we will hopefully return at some point in the future.

The Moorings has the best seaside view. We spent hours watching the sea, wildlife, sports people, dogs, children and beachcombers enjoying the perfect sheltered and safe beach.

Very enjoyable stay at The Moorings

Just returned from a weeks holiday at The Moorings (ground floor apartment). The location is superb - such a lovely sea view from many of the rooms, especially the dining room and the garden, which is huge. We loved the ladder with access to the beach. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. It's also great to have somewhere with 3 bathrooms. Great customer service from Coastal Holidays. Would thoroughly recommend both them and the property. We've already booked to go back next year!

Repeat visitors here and once again, the view just makes this place. It is airy and well configured for an old house. Bedroom 3 at back is very small but comfy and each bedroom can have a seperate bathroom if needed. We are adventure seeking people and it's brilliant to go cycling, kayaking, swimming, snorkelling, walking, coasteering and sea jumping (If you know what you are doing). It's at the quiet end of the bay but within easy reach of the shops etc.... 5 min walk. If you just want to chill, there are multiple places to do this, like the side decking with great BBQ (please clean for future guests), the gardens, the elevated decking overlooking the bay or the sun room which also has great views around 2 sides of the house,both to the bay. Look, this place could do with a slightly bigger kitchen and more room in 1 bedroom but everything else counts that out. It's brill and we will definately be using it again. The lounge is huge with a lovely old fireplace (Log burner) if needed in the colder months.The owners leave you to it but are always there if something went wrong. Coastal are very good agents as well and keep on top of any enquiries in what has been a difficult year for the travel and holiday industry. The view (Top Flat) which is slightly smaller is also brilliant! You are literally on the edge of the beach. Thanks again.

The Morrings

The Property: A lovely property in a fantastic location overlooking the bay We took the downstairs apartment which offered comfy beds and plenty of room to spread out, with garden to rear and a great little veranda to the side for coffee time or lunch. The lounge area is very cosy with full size TV and and a variety seating Owners provide full kitchen utilities and a washer and dryer. with extremely helpful owners if assistance is ever required., Location: The walks on the cliffside are to die for and there are several decent restaurants close by the 'Gladys', less than a mile away , we found the best quality in terms location atmosphere and food good and the 'Trecastle' in Bull Bay also decent. We did not try the local pub The Stagg, as it was a little too small for social distancing. Last., but not least, we found excellent service from Coastal Holidays. A good time had by all.

Fantastic views and peaceful location

This property was bright and clean and spacious with many pleasant aesthetic touches. The views from many of the rooms as well as from the garden are fantastic. It was wonderful to be able to climb out of the garden over the stile and scramble down the rocks to the sea. With 2 young people suffering badly with CFS/ME we only left Cemaes itself once, and they hardly left the property, but there was still plenty to appreciate and for the healthier members of the family to enjoy too.

A wonderful mid week break!!

The Moorings was a perfect venue for holiday. Its' location is perfect, on the coastal path and overlooking the ever changing scenes of a coastal bay. We four ladies go away each year for a catch up. After our walks we relaxed with books admiring the peaceful outlook. The house is perfectly appointed with every requirement you could think of. There is a good convenience store and a cafe that serves good food. The only down side was that we were only there for 3 days!! As the saying goes 'We will return'
