“The room was tiny, bed & 2 seat couch were uncomfortable, no bedside table. Way over priced for what you get. It was clean, very old but clean and housekeeping ladies were lovely. Total disappointment in the room. ”

“Staff at reception rude, daily housekeeping missed, room was musty and smelt, noise at night continuos rolling kefs or barrels, finding anyone at reception was impossible ...basically a backpackers would have been cheaper and cleaner. Absolutely nothing went right from check in to check out ..just dirty and rude staff”

“We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with twin beds in 1 room and whilst the hotel was agreeable to splitting a bed, it took over 24 hours to happen. The patio had all services on it (hot water system and 2 aircon motors, 1 of which was not for this room), and the aircon drain was direct onto the patio floor, so you could not use the patio except to stand in the middle of it on a mat that was placed on it for water reasons. The apartment was advertised to have aircon, but it was in the loungeroom...

“The property was not was what was depicted in the photos on line. It just had a strange vibe all together. Very isolated to the township of Hastings. Has an onsite restaurant that had very average reviews so we Uber ordered instead. No staff to assist with check in, just had to enter reception and grab key. We weren't sure that we had even paid for the night, turned out we hadn't - we could have just left but we aren't that type of person. Very odd hotel indeed!”
