“Absolutely a great place to stay. Host was great, let us us check in a little earlier, and check out a little later. We were here for a wedding nearby. There was a beautiful porch with comfy chairs overlooking a beautiful lake. We enjoyed our morning coffee there. Not one complaint or concern here!”

Easy access to downtown restaurants and events. Street is quiet and neighbors friendly, and a Hy-Vee Supermarket close.Be aware that bathroom and bedrooms are all upstairs. If mobility is an issue, be aware of arrangement. Otherwise, property is cozy and relaxing.Would certainly return when I revisit Cedar Rapids.”

“We had 8 adults and 5 children in our group for 3 nights here for a memorable Hawkeye football family weekend. It's older, eclectic and minimalist (kind of a frat house vibe) and could definitely use some TLC. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the driveway is quite steep so we were glad it wasn't icy. “Loved the charm of this old house. The host was fabulous to work with. I gave it three stars only because it is an old house which still is in the renovation stage and it still needs some work. It worked perfectly for our family. It is not appropriate for those who have trouble climbing stairs. I would give it 3 1/2 stars if allowed to do so. ”

“Kadia's Place was exactly what we needed for a weekend stay in Cedar Rapids. It was clean, easy check-in and out, and excellent communication by our host! It is small, dated, and very basic but perfect for a comfortable place to sleep at night for my husband, our adult son, and myself. It's close enough to walk to Coe College which is why we were in town, and convenient to anywhere in the Cedar Rapids downtown area without actually being downtown. Thanks for a great stay!”
