“I spent three nights in isolation and peace. There were a few initial problems but Sally was very approachable and helpful. The biggest drawback was the number of ants, but some insecticide helped with that. Lying in the bath at night watching the stars, and some satellites and even one shooting star was amazing. The road to the house is somewhat rough, so you might not want to drive your sedan there.”

“A lovely, quiet country property within easy reach of the convenience of Orange. The pool was a huge hit with the kids - great size and very clean. The house was well equipped with everything you need, including a generous welcome hamper. Books, games, TVs, wifi etc. We were a bit concerned about the lack of air con given it was mid-summer, but even though the days were warm the house stayed cool, and the elevation gave us a beautiful cool breeze every night. A wonderful stay.”

“We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful Easter weekend in the school house. The bed and linens were comfortable and the classic lounge chairs a treat. My hubby would have enjoyed a small electric frying pan to cook his bacon and eggs in but aside from that the kitchenette had everything we needed. We had booked dinner at Antica Australis in Carcoar in advance, that was wonderful and we stopped on the way home to the school house to admire the stars away from ambient light.”

“Super spacious room with nice balcony and outdoor seating. Centrally located so easy to walk to the main shops. Not as clean as it could have been, someone had left their charger and rubbish behind the table. Also bit dusty and moldy in the bathroom ”
