“Room was great! Comfortable, quiet, spacious, cute little patio with chairs. The only thing is that the Hotel/lodge is not attached to the casino. We had to ask someone that was outside where to go It is a short drive up a hill. There is shuttle service, but it was confusing upon arrival about where to go for checkout.”

“This is a beautiful old hotel and we liked it a lot, aside for two things: a recent renovation meant off-gassing fumes which were a lot for the first few days. The rooms are not well sound proofed so you could hear ppl in the hallway and in other rooms. Aside from that it was perfect.”

“Bubbling up wallpaper is just painted over. Unresponsive, unhelpful host. Only lightbulb in windowless bathroom was broken and taking a shower in total darkness was unpleasant. Staircase to second floor is perilous unless you only have a backpack. We booked for three nights, but only stayed for one night. Non repeat!”

“Great location if you are wanting to travel around Northern Michigan. Cute town with a convenient grocery store, Mammoth Distillery Lounge and great little pizza place. Check in was easy, but no personal communication from owners. Only automated messages. Unit could have been cleaner. There was sand on the floor and some laundry in the dryer which was strange. Unit did not have as many beds as advertised so I’m glad we didn’t need more. AC unit was incredibly loud and not very efficient. Had to...
