“I give them 4.5 stars. Old English hunt country charm with four poster bed and chintz curtains. My one negative is that there is no elevator for luggage. But, the hotel helped us get some of the luggage up to the room. The bar has been updated with an upscale menu and it had a lot of young people and full of energy. The hotel is right in the middle of the very quaint town of bernardsville. Overall, we had a lovely visit. ”

“We were greeted by a man in a tattered sweatshirt in the main house. Then We were taken to the room in a carriage house across a dark parking lot. There were no lights in the entry and there was an sunken entry to the room we nearly fell into the room. There were remains from the previous logger including dirty glasses and trash. It was dark and dingy. We had stayed in the main house 3-4 years earlier and went to look at an available room there. The hall carpets were stained and in bad shape,...
