“Apartment was great and rooms were nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable and appliances in the home were clean and easy to use. Advertised spa area was a bit smaller than expected. Thermostat is not located in the apartment and you must contact owner to adjust the temperature. A little more cobwebs than expected even though it was a basement apartment. ”

“Excellent - check-in was easy and we were able to check-in two hours early, beds were comfy, space was clean and perfect for what we needed.”

“great place and host. For the people who left lower stars perhaps you were not setting proper expectations. This was a great price and a solid place to stay. When back in the toronto area I will be looking for this place again. ”

“It was a lovely stay, very spacious unit and easy to come and go as needed. The hosts were responsive and lovely. We will return!”

“I was very impressed with the setup and the decor of the apartment. It was very convenient to be steps away from the bridge and the main street. Was very grateful that it was pet-friendly. My dog was very comfortable. One thing I would recommend is to add a light in the walkway to the apartment. It was very uncomfortable to be alone walking between the two buildings in the dark. ”

“A nice place and gracious hosts. We enjoyed it and it was easy to get to Toronto without any hassles.Older people and those with any mobility issues might find the stairs to the basement apartment challenging. We suggested a railing would help.”

“I don't recommend it at all, no communication with the owner, only by email, no phone. The description doesn't mention that it's in a basement with no windows. My wife and kids were scared to stay, so we had to leave the place and book another for the night. The owner didn't respond to me when I described the place by whatsapp. ”
