Wooded cabin in the Laurel Highlands with beautiful yard and native trout stream

  • Welcome to Scout Lane Lodging! There are two wonderful log cabins on the property. This description is for the main cabin which accomadates 10. Our beautiful home sits on 6 acres of land surrounded by woods. Roaring run which is considered a class A native trout stream flows right through the back yard. The cabin is completely stocked with anything you will need during your stay! This property is within walking distance to the ICV hiking and biking trail. Just a short drive to both Hidden Valley and Seven Springs resorts and PA's largest state park, Ohiopyle. Our newly renovated home sleeps up to 10 people. Features include: hot tub, outdoor fire pit, pellet stove, outdoor grill, central air, and radiant heated floors in the addition. Nestled in the heart of the Laurel Highlands, Scout Lane Cabin is the perfect location for a relaxing escape or action filled adventure.

What a great get away. Jess was great to deal with and very helpful with suggestions for things to do in the area. Lots of amenities throughout the cabin. Everything you need for a weekend or week long stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Jess is so nice and check-in was very smooth. the cabin is amazingly well stocked, especially the kitchen. Plenty of space and bedrooms- we didn’t even realize there was a loft until we got there. They’ve also upgraded the garage into a game room/ hang-out space that we really enjoyed. Such a great spot!

Summer family getaway

This is a very nice property and we had a great time at the cabin. Jess is very nice and easy to work with. Overall, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.....loved the hot tub!

Spacious Cabin

Great cabin with lots of space, both inside and outside. We enjoyed the hot tub, firepit, and game room. The cabin was also located near lots to do and was had a well appointed kitchen.

Our stay was amazing! The cabin inside was fully equipped with all the essentials and very clean and inviting. The property grounds were beautiful and tranquil with a relaxing hot tub and fire pit. Bonus that the firewood was provided for us!Jess the owner was so very personable and so thoughtful about making sure we had everything we needed.Our group all decided that we would definitely like to rent this property again!

We had a girls weekend here and had an amazing time! Location is beautiful, and fully stocked with everything we needed. Host is very kind and communicative. We will definitely be back!

We loved the property and the sounds of the creek behind the house. Nicely secluded without being far away from access to seven springs and the stores in town. Would highly recommend this property!

Snowy Paradise

This is our preferred place to stay when we go to Seven Springs. We really love the large space and especially the big hot tub. It's an easy drive to Seven Springs and remote enough to feel like no one else is around. It's great to have the property owner walk you through everything and answer any questions you have. Definitely stay here again.

Exceeded our expectations

The photos of the house don’t do it justice. The house is beautifully appointed. My family and I stayed for a wedding close by. Jesse went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We will be back again for sure!

Terrific!

The property is amazing with all the comforts needed for a family stay. Loved the house and the hot tub along with the fire pit. Jess as host is wonderful. Responsive, easy and friendly. Everything was just as we hoped. We will return!

The house is beautiful, spacious, and well stocked. The owner responded quickly to emails or phone calls with questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great cabin !

The extended family loved the long weekend over Easter. The house was fantastic. We loved the fire pit and the stream so close ! The kids enjoyed the sleeping loft. Jess was great to work with and super responsive .

Awesome cabin!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved the Christmas tree and lights! Jess was very helpful showing us around and giving us suggestions for things to do and where to eat. Would definitely go back!

Everything was wonderful and the place has everything we needed. Very clean, enough space, and fully stocked. The host was very informative and helpful. He takes great pride in his place. One of the best rentals we have stayed in.

The house is accurately depicted online. It is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked. The location is private yet close to activities. We'll definitely return!

Great weekend getaway

We had a great long weekend. The “cabin” was big and clean. Close to kayaking, hiking, and bike trail. Every amenity included.
