“The house was beautiful, cozy and spacious and it offers a quiet and private get-away. Anne was very responsive to our enquiries and was quick to resolve any issues. Please note that there is very minimal wifi and bathroom towels are not included but can be provided for at a cost of £10 per towel. We had a lovely time!”

“Beautiful property set in amazing grounds. Everything was very clean and so much kitchenware available. Lots of different living areas which was great for a big group. The outside bbq/seating area was covered so perfect for when the weather is not so great but you still want to be outside. Pool and tennis courts kept us very entertained. “What a wonderful house in such a beautiful location. We loved every minute of our stay! It is so peaceful, yet not too secluded that you feel cut off. Perfect! The pool is fabulous; large and clean, and very welcoming on hot days. The house is very well furnushed and has everything you'd ever need for cooking eyc. “3 jours où nous avons profité des environs: Brantôme, Bourdeilles, Saint Jean de Côle... Le temps maussade ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la piscine qui nous faisait envie. Un gîte bien équipé, grand, un bel extérieur. Des petites attentions des propriétaires: du bois pour le poêle, un gâteau... Un bon et beau moment en famille”

“We found the property well appointed, hot water issue was sorted quickly, and I can't complain about the response either, very good, location was ideal and the view early in the morning was great, and again in the evening as the sun went down.”

“This lovely rural farmhouse provided plenty of space for our extended family of 6 adults and 3 children (aged 13, 4 and <2) to spend a relaxing week in a more peaceful area of the Dordogne. “A lovely house. The grounds are phenomenal with lovely views of the countryside. Plenty of room for people. Mahil was very helpful and approachable. Pool is glorious and huge. There was a heating issue with the pool but Mahil fixed it without haste. Slight issue is the shop is probably 20 minutes away. Also we paid extra for sheets and towels as didn’t have enough room in the car but there was only one towel each and no floor mat or tea towel. Otherwise very lovely property.”

“Stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely apartment- part of a classic French property with a garden and private pool. Although secluded the property is less than 10 minutes drive to Brantome with its many good restaurants and market. Some fine walks in the local area as well. Our hosts, Sandra and Alun, were very helpful about places to visit and great company over a glass or two of wine. We cannot recommend this property or location highly enough.”
