“When you have never been somewhere before, you have low expectations. I have to say that this hotel was way better than I expected. Not that I thought it was going to be bad but that it was very good and a very pleasant surprise! The common areas were clean and looked after. The rooms were clean and looked after. Two positives right there. Every hotel has a little wear and tear, can’t be helped with people coming and going, carrying overpacked cases. This hotel wears it well…. The odd nick here...

“The room is okay but you don't really get the value of your money. The bed is comfortable and we had a great sleep. We booked an oceanview room but the Inn by the Harbour (hotel next door) is pretty much covering the view. The hotel doesn't even have a hot tub or sauna that you can enjoy. And to add, the washroom has shower not bath tub. Bring your own shampoo because the washrooms only have conditioners. Overall, comfortable stay but you don't get the value of your money.”

“There is nothing positive that I can say about my stay here. Filthy and battered public areas, poorly cleaned room, dangerous wiring in the room and a very sketchy neighbourhood. I am disappointed that Expedia would list this property. It doesn’t build confidence in the Expedia platform or its vetting of properties that are listed. Do not consider staying here.”
