  • Our little house is a work in progress but still a great getaway. Great home-base for hitting lake Palestine, visiting friends and family, or just a quick get away! Private community boat ramp and pier at lake 600 feet down street from cabin. Plenty of parking. Nice community pool with small playground adjacent. Pool closed on Mondays. Pool open Memorial day to Labor day..
    Wooded back yard with fire pit. Back yard is fenced. Pets allowed.
    Sleeps 4. One large bedroom with King size SLEEP Number Bed!
    Futon makes full size bed.
    Full kitchen including blender for smoothies or your bullet proof coffee. Coffee pot of course.. Also has crock pots,
    Inside electric grill, air fryer and waffle maker. Outside charcoal BBQ grill.
    Decks outside of bedroom and in back. Hardwired internet and wifi. Please smoke outside to respect others. Come get away and enjoy Lake Palestine in Chandler Tx.

We enjoyed the quiet setting and close proximity to the lake. Ivy our hostess was quick to respond to our messages. Also the birds in the back yard were a bonus. We got a weekend break that was much needed and will be booking it again.

Great place to relax. We came to visit our daughter in Tyler. The little lake house had everything we needed. Loved sitting out on the porch. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard.

Very pet friendly and great communication with host. You do have to walk or drive to the pool/playground and both are like a 3/5 rating. The boat dock/lake access isn’t exactly what we thought and the code did not work for us. I thought the lake access would be more kid friendly and not just the boat dock. The spiders and bugs around the house and every time you stepped outside was absolutely insane!!! This is not at all the owners fault but it does need to be mentioned. You would wipe down chairs and tables outside and within an hour they would be covered again. Overall great family friendly stay with pets!

Reasonably priced, nice quiet place to stay, with lake access & pet friendly. Comfortable like home away from home.

Getaway with my husband and our puppy.

Love the stay. They made it easy for check in. The home was comfortable. My puppy loved the fecned in backyard. And the fact it was minutes away from the lake was great. Thank you to the owners we enjoyed our stay.

Family trip

This place was a perfect fit for our quick Thanksgiving weekend visit to the Tyler area. We were able to host our daughter and her friends for Thanksgiving lunch and have our dog along on the trip. The fenced back yard was great!

Cute little lake cabin

We enjoyed our little getaway with our pups. Loved the fenced in yard for them! Area was a little rough, but I'd stay again. They had firewood there for us to use which was so nice and convenient.

The house was cute. Everything worked. Understanding that it was a lake house I felt that it could have been cleaner. Inside there were cobwebs and dead bugs on the window sills. The sheets on the bed had not been changed! The outside could have been rinsed. It was very dirty. The BBQ grills were listed as one of the amenities. They were useless. Private boat ramp could not be used because it was all broken up and overgrown.

Hidden Gem!

Loved our stay! Was super clean and a definite down home feel. We are from the hills of TN and felt right at home. In TX for a wedding wish we come have had more time to sit on the porch!

Family Lake weekend

Family lake weekend with a group of 4. Communication with owner was easy - very responsive to any questions and was very helpful. We enjoyed our time. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Cute cabin getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfasts and heating other meals. My husband also used the charcoal grill for delicious hamburgers.

Nice quiet cabin

Ivy was amazing with directions, made sure to check in, has phone numbers to contact if needed, the cabin was so cute, we stayed for a softball tournament and the kids LOVED it, nice outside set up and it’s right off the lake, we will definitely be booking again for our summer tournament!

Pretending it's Nana's house

My grandkids live on the lake as few miles south of this cabin. We spend days with them, but it is fun to bring them here, make cookies, dinner, relax with them, let them play assorted games.. just have a change of scenery. Much better for us than staying in a hotel room in town.
