“This hotel is at an amazing location. It’s close to a very famous Hu Tong, which is Tong Luo Gu Xiang. Only a few minutes walk, then you can easily spend a few hours walking up and down the Hu Tong, with lots of shops and food on each side. I am amazed how this hotel is located in the center of the city, but the night is absolutely quiet. The hotel staff is excellent. “This is a great spot to explore a beautiful section of the Great Wall out of the hustle and bustle of Beijing. We were at the hotel on Labour Day (1 May to 5 May) which is typically a very busy time in China for all major attractions. The hotel and village were not overcrowded at all which was great. The Great Wall is a 20 to 25 minute walk from the hotel to the ticket purchasing area. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the ticket purchasing area. We got to the Great Wall at around 8:30am...
