2 night stay for our sons tournament in Williamsburg. About a half hour drive to the complex with minimal to no traffic on back roads, which was great. Secluded but only 30 minutes to shopping and restaurants. The view and docks were very nice. We brought fishing gear and had easy access. Second floor room was a plus. Restaurant onsite. We had to check in late, and they were very accommodating, giving us the access code to the room and leaving all the info and parking pass in the room for us when we arrived.
Down side was the room was not very clean. It had been remodeled but the floors were dirty from foot traffic. We had to use the sofa as a bed for our son and found the linens on the floor in the closet, covered in dirt like they had been outside. When removing cushions to fit the sheet, we found an excessive amount of dirt behind and between them. Bathroom had hair in the sink and despite the sign saying "Do not clean fish in the sink" the drains had a horrible fish odor. We used shampoo to rinse the drain out, which seemed to work. TV's are wireless but internet service needs an upgrade. Took about a minute switching to each channel before it loaded and then the program would lag every few minutes so we just shut off the TV and went for a walk and did some fishing.
I imagine in the summer, this would be a great place to come and spend a weekend or longer, with the pool, restaurant, play ground and the docks all onsite. Just make sure your room is clean
