Listing did not match reality. Within 24 hours of my stay the owner reached out to notify us about the pool that wasn’t going to be available. Fine, things happen. Upon arriving at the home, we noticed that there were several propane tanks empty for the grills, and the pool grill didn’t even work once we found a propane tank with a little bit of gas. Additionally the state of the rooftop was tragic. Seat covers were gross, the hammock chair was oozing out rusty brown water, no remote for the tv and the fireplace did not work. The host was very responsive but failed to address any of the issues. It’s a beautiful home that needs a little bit of TLC and it’ll be a 10/10 listing. Unfortunately, that’s not what we found during our stay. Very disappointed.

This experience was ok. The owner was good at replying quickly, but did not take action to help us. The place itself was very spacious, and had a nice kitchen and bathrooms. Also, the beds were very comfortable. However, almost nothing that was promised was actually provided. None of the video games worked in the garage, the basketballs were all flat, the hot tub was cold and didn’t work, some of the remotes didn’t have batteries in them, and the fire pit was broken. The actual pictures put online do not represent reality. The fatheads were peeling off the walls, there is no TV behind the bar on the rooftop, and the patio furniture was cracked and dirty. If the owner put a couple of thousand dollars towards fixing this place, it would’ve been gorgeous and a place we’d stay again. Luckily, the company we had during our trip is what mattered most.
Chair cushions were all dirty and needed to be replaced.
Fire pit didn’t work.
No ignition for fire pit.

The property is exactly what we were expecting and accommodated our group 12 perfectly. Brian, the property manager was fully responsive and available as needed! I would definitely stay at this house again!

Take what you can get with this spot

This is a perfectly fine place to stay if you're looking for a large house in a well placed area of Charlotte. There were multiple issues that arose with this property during our stay, HOWEVER, the host was very communicative and timely. We had issues, they were fixed, but that was it. When asked about accommodating the persistent inconveniences, the guests had to be the one to ask about any sort of makeup and nothing was resolved. It would stand to reason that a good host would want to be the one to take priority in righting a wrong but only the bare minimum seems to be the theme. Which is fine, no hurt feelings but it is worth noting if you expect any level of professionalism past, "I fixed it, what more do you want?" If just a little more attention was paid to keeping up with this property, it'd be a wonderful place to stay. This place has a lot of amenities that aren't technically unavailable but not totally what you would imagine them to be. For instance, there's maybe a half-dozen propane tanks around for the fire pit, the grills, etc. They were all empty. There is a great pool table, no chalk for the sticks. There is a hot tub but it took a whole day to get it to work because the rain causes issues with the heater. There is a game room in the garage, with a ceiling leak that gives the room an unpleasant smell. Overall our group was looking for a place we could spend a long weekend together and it proved more fruitful to do that outside of this house than in it.

Fantastic House in a great area

A group of friends visited Charlotte to check out the whitewater center and some of the brewery’s in Charlotte. This house was ina. Great location and was perfect house for entertaining and keeping us occupied between bars and dinner! The host always responded to our messages quickly. I would gladly come back to this house and stay again!!

Great stay

The vrbo is great and has so much to offer. The owner is good about responding to communication quick; had some weather related issues that were addressed as soon as possible. Great location and even greater house.

A Few Issues - Nice Property - A little diff than pics

This location was perfect.15 minutes from CLT airport 15 Mins from my work office 5 minutes from downtown where all the good food is! The neighborhood is “Up and Coming”. It felt safe - 2 houses down there is a AMG Benz and a Range Rover. 2 houses down the other way- for sure a house with nefarious activity. Check in was easy. Brian communicated well but there were a few issues. Upon checking in it was very obvious the cleaners did not clean well. Hair on the floors, visible stains on the floor, a table with icky stuff on the table top and bench. The 3rd floor hallway and master bedroom had an odor. It smelled like BO. If they cleaned and sanitized there was no way that smell would be there. Me and the fiance couldnt even sleep in the room because of the smell. The couches downstairs needed to be cleaned. Once again - not vacuumed and stained. We bring sheets with us when we travel so we had to put sheets on the couch before sitting on them. I checked in and told the host but cleaners didn't come out until the next day. After they came the smell was better and the hair/stains were mostly gone. The downstairs breaker kept tripping and cutting the power to the bedroom. I followed all the steps from the host but after 20 mins it would cut off again. Ended up putting my son at the Ivys hotel down the street to accommodate him. Overall not bad but just a few annoyances. Brian addressed everything quickly & checked in daily

Great get away home

The home was a Great place to stay. It had all the amenities listed that made the home extraordinary. The only downside to the home is the Master Bedroom does not have the usual king size bed. It had 2 Queen size beds which caused my party to make last second adjustments.

Awesome for all occasions, comfy, clean, fun

The neighborhood is not upscale, and the building sticks out like a sore thumb but my guests and I never felt unsafe. The location is perfect for going to the white water center, and into downtown. There is a trolley within walking distance that we took into the middle of the city for free. That trolley can also take you down into South End. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. There was more furniture on the roof than what was shown in the pics and a pool area was installed when I reserved the place which was a happy surprise. Be prepared for the parking situation. Because the garage is occupied there are less cars that could fit than normal. We were able to park 2 cars in the driveway and 3 cars on the road without blocking the road at all or encroaching onto another property, but we had to block in the people parked in the driveway. The only thing I wish was different was that there were some broken items that took away from the experience a bit, but I will reach out to the owner to make sure they are aware and hopefully it is resolved by the time you stay. Overall my group of people had a great time, and we would love to stay again if we are in the area and if they would be willing to have us! Thank you,
