Relaxing lake getaway

Beautiful home on a peaceful cove. Lots of comfortable space for families and plenty of activities. We enjoyed the pool table and snow cone maker and paddleboards, and we rented a boat for a day on the lake. We'll definitely be back!

Overall great house

This house is perfect for large families. Plenty of room for everyone! Nice dock, and lots of provided activities. The important things (toilets, showers) were clean, however the house needs a good deep cleaning. The upper level bedroom doesn’t cool well. So be prepared to not enjoy the view because you must keep the curtains closed to maintain the temperature. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you need. The outdoor spaces were fantastic. We had a great time.

Great place, great location

Rented this to fit 10 adults for a 80th birthday party. Everything about it was great. Rooms, amenities, kitchen supplies, lake supplies all top notch. If we go to the lake again we will be back if its available!

Christmas in North Carolina

We wanted to try something different this year for the holidays and what a perfect home to do it in. The view from every window was so beautiful and serene. The time we spent there was super sweet and will never be forgotten.

Great stay for all

We had older teenagers and adults stay at the house or visit during our stay. The house was perfect to have the younger adults occupy the basement/game room while the adults relaxed on the deck or living room. The variety of water activities were a big hit with everyone. We made good use of the grill too. Bring your bug spray because… lake=mosquitos. We had such a good time, we’re already talking about another stay.

Fantastic House with Great Views

We had a fantastic time at the house. We had multiple families with kids come have a weekend getaway and we comfortably fit everyone into the house. The house has great views of the lake and the kids loved playing in the lake and on the floating lilly pad. The adults loved the fire pit for after the kids went to bed. We accidentally left something behind and the owner was nice enough to find it for us and mail it back to us. Would highly recommend this property.

Wedding Weekend

We were in town for my niece’s wedding. We came from Illinois, North Carolina and South Carolina. Had a great time. Home is everything it says it is and more. Beautiful location. Rented a boat from Marina. Lake was gorgeous. Would highly recommend this home. Large, clean and everything you need for a great getaway.

Perfect for us!

We were in town for the weekend for a Jeep event and loved staying at this house. The listing represents the home very well, the kitchen is well stocked with necessary items. We enjoyed shooting pool and playing Foosball. The kayak and paddle boards were a great bonus! Would definitely stay here again!

Great Home and Location

The home was lovely with a good location. Paddle boards were a definite plus! We rented a boat for the week so I would suggest that. Stairs to water were doable but may be an issue for those with medical conditions or limited mobility. Swimming off dock was fun too! There were 10 of us and fit comfortably. Would rent again!

Fun family getaway

This house was spacious, clean and the perfect family vacation spot. We had so much fun, playing games, making sno cones, playing football/pool and paddle boarding/kayaking/fishing/swimming. The only thing I would recommend is more seating in the family room and the downstairs table… two love seats in the family room and four chairs at the downstairs table is not enough for the people that fill 5 bedrooms to congregate together. Owner was very nice and easy to get ahold of. Will definitely be back!!!! ** used what’s up water sports to rent a boat for the day and they were horrible to us! Would definitely read their google reviews and look else where**

Lake Norman

House is decorated cute. Has been updated recently. The best park of a lake house for me is the outdoor space and this house doesn’t have that inviting outdoor space. The deck off the back has furniture that needs replaced and not comfy. Ripped and mildew on cushions. No stairs from the deck to the back yard. The fire pit area is sitting on a hill and the chairs out there are not level and also have seen better days. So not the best spot to go hang out or sit and read a book. Only one family area to sit inside. 2 small love seats. So maybe 5 people max. Downstairs has fun games but no where for the family to sit and hang out except a big table but we had some rain and wanted to watch a movie and not enough seats for 8. The upstairs bedroom is very warm. They do have a fan up there for you but it is hot and muggy up there. It needs its own AC. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is nice.

Quiet & Clean

We had a great experience, thanks to such wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to work with us on the rental after some system issues that initially messed up the reservation. We appreciated their flexibility and willingness to make it work. Once we were at the house, we found a great property in a quiet area of the lake, that worked for our extended family trip. The AC & fans were great and sufficient for cooling the house, even though the upstairs didn’t have a separate unit. The wifi was up to the task of 4 kids periodically streaming music/movies when we weren’t out fishing. There was plenty of table space and a wonderfully large kitchen with new appliances to do meal-prep in. We loved all the extras - kayak, paddle board, foosball, snow cone maker, fire pit, grill, etc. Be aware that there is some significant elevation to get down to the lake. If you have folks who are unsteady on their feet, or not good on stairs, then make sure they’re okay with not going down to the lake. Overall, it was a wonderful trip.
