Lovely Home
I was one of 7 women that stayed at this property for a basketball tournament in downtown Charolette over four days in February.
Pros:
-Wonderful roomy space & very comfortable for 7 women.
-Enough bathrooms for everyone
-Full kitchen well equipped with all the essentials
-fresh linen & towels/wash clothes on hand for several days.
-About 10 mins from downtown (we took Uber in & out of town)
-Beautiful wrap around porch (we traveled with stadium chairs so were able to hang out on the porch some. There’s a beautiful view of the skyline from the porch).
-alarm system
-easy coded door entry system
-good street parking
-Host was on hand to answer all questions.
CONS:
-Not sure if renovations were rushed but I could tell the contractor work was not up to par. Still a beautiful space & I think overtime the small glitches will be fixed & updated.
-The house could use more seating. Luckily we brought the stadium chairs so we could all sit together comfortably.
-The house window blinds need to be updated & the window seals cleaned.
-The bed in the middle room slept comfortably but the box spring (or something) needs to be updated. The bed squeaked horribly! Every move was so loud. So if you toss & turn alot I don’t recommend this bed for you! The host needs to upgrade this bed.
-The wi-fi sucks so if you are traveling for work make sure you have your own hotspot.
-We weren’t in the house much during the day but if you travel with kids or family you might want to bring your FireStick in the event the SmartTV is not working properly.
OVERALL:
This was a great house & we all enjoyed our stay! I definitely recommend staying here if you have a large group. It’s a working class community & was fairly quiet.
