“Food is excellent and we were made very welcome despite arriving late for dinner after a long drive. The chateau itself is a lovely building in a beautiful setting and is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but will do next time we visit.”

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. “Estuvimos cuatro noches en el hotel y para los servicios que ofrece, su ubicación y las instalaciones se nos hizo bastante caro. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, para dos camas más una supletoria el espacio es mínimo (hay que hacer un verdadero Tetris). Por la noche no hay nadie en la recepción, sólo una 'recepcionista automática' (ordenador). El precio de la habitación no incluye el desayuno, que es bastante caro, y estás obligado a contratarlo ya que está lejos del centro del pueblo.”
