Chatel Centre - 50 M to Ski Lift

  • Our apartment is in a fantastic location, only 50 metres from the Super Chatel gondola and 100 metres from the shops/restaurants in the centre of the village. Despite being very central the apartment is in a quiet location, situated above the village centre and set back from a no through road.

    Due to it's location, the L shaped sunny southwest facing balcony has magnificent views of the valley both left towards Linga and right towards Chapelle /Abondance.

    The property comprises – entrance hall, spacious open plan living room with 42 inch TV, WIFI internet, Apple TV, dining area, and modern kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, induction hob/oven, coffee (Nespresso and Filter) microwave and washing machines.

    If required we have 2 Hauck travel cots with mattresses available (60cm x 120 cm)

    2 double bedrooms each with en suite bathroom/wc.
    One of the bedrooms offers the option of 2 single beds or together as 1 King size (mattress zipps together). There is also a double sofa bed in the living area.

    There are private parking spaces, but also a private garage is available for parking and/or for the storage of bikes. A cave is also available for ski/snowboard storage.

Excellent apartment and location

The apartment was beautiful and more spacious than appeared on the photos. We had everything we needed and the location was fabulous.

Fast rundum zufrieden

Die Lage und die Sauberkeit des Apartments war wirklich top. Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Jugendlichen da und uns war das Apartment etwas zu klein. Für einen Aufenthalt mit sechs Personen würde ich abraten. Beide Badezimmer liegen direkt an den Schlafzimmern, so dass die Personen, die im Wohnzimmer schlafen, immer durch ein Schlafzimmer durch müssen. Es ist alles da, ist alles sehr gepflegt aber für uns war’s zu eng.

Great location & Views

Instruction manuals very handy as were the few bits and bobs in the cupboards like foil and salt, plenty of loo roll and cleaning products. Lovely apartment. Loo function issue attended to immediately. Dishwasher instructions / salt / rinse aid could do with being provided. Thought the master bedroom bed was a bit chilly against the window. Other than that, can't fault it! Host very responsive to messages. Would recommend!!

Uncovered Gem

Everything about our stay and experience from the beginning to the end was more than we could have hoped for. The property was perfect for our family of four (two boys, ages 11 & 14). It was an easy check-in process and the amenities were everything we needed for the week! The location was perfect with proximity to Super Châtel lift and the village (able to walk to any & everything we needed). The ski hire 2U recommended by the property manager, Andy, was amazing and made things so much easier since they delivered everything directly to us, and retrieved it at the end. The apartment was cozy, well appointed, and had beautiful views of the mountain and the village. We had amazing weather from warm & sunny in the village, great snow in the mountain, and got to experience beautiful snowfall blanketing the village and fresh powder on the slopes! The food was so fresh and delicious, and everyone was so accommodating with our broken French (most could speak enough English that we were able to understand and figure out the things we needed to). We look forward to coming back and doing it again!

Très bonne emplacement de l'appartement , beaucoup de randonnées à proximité.L'appartement est très bien équipé ( lave linge , lave vaisselle),chaque chambre a sa salle de bain et ses toilettes. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour malgré le temps mitigé .

Problème d'eau chaude lors des 3 premiers jours mais ce n'est pas la faute des propriétaires. Petit appartement très bien tenu et très bien équipé. Proximité avec le centre village et très belle vue depuis la terrasse.

Great view from a great apartment in a great location

Great apartment with wonderful views; well appointed and with easy parking. A quiet area but just two minutes walk to the heart of Chatel. Check-in and -out process was simple and painless.

Super location with great balcony views.

Stayed here in July. The apartment is in a great location right in the centre of Chatel but also away from noise. The building is above the main town centre so you get great views across to the mountains. The balcony glass doors make the best of the light and views. In general the apartment was very clean, smart and up to date. The kitchen , bathroom and showers are very good. The owners were very helpful and excellent communication. Would certainly come again in the Summer.

Très content de l'appartement ,très bien situé

L'appartement correspond exactement aux photos ,très lumineux , situé à côté du télécabine,très fonctionnel. La résidence est très calme , aucune voiture. Nous conseillons cette location. Il faudrait seulement prévoir un deuxième trousseau de clés car ce n'est pas évident à plusieurs personnes surtout que les skis sont stockés au sous-sol avec un accès avec des clés. Nous avons loué l'appartement début mars 2018.

Effortless convenience.

Richard’s property is situated 50 meters from the Super Chatel bubble, making getting up the mountain an effortless exercise. The use of a garage to store skies, is even closer. The views from the large lounge window across the valley is stunning and the accommodation generally is of a very high standard.

Amazing Apartment

The apartment is ideally located close to the village and all its amenities. The views from the balcony are amazing. Just a short walk to the SuperChatel Gondala.

Nous avons vécu de merveilleuses vacances dans ce bel et cosy appartement. Il y a de la place pour le rangement et 2 douches: pratique quand on est 6! Seul bémol: la petite pente raide glacée, difficile à monter par moment et pour certaines personnes. Merci aux propriétaires pour leurs réponses rapides par mail.

Superbly positioned apartment

This apartment is all about position, being about 50m from the Super Chatel lift. However, it is also beautifully appointed, with modern fittings throughout and has obviously been recently refurbished with apple tv and a Nespresso machine in addition to the usual equipment. The bedrooms are tight, but that didn't bother us. The main living room is spacious and has a terrific view over the valley and town. We stayed here over half term and had various friends in the town, all envious of our position and the very short walk to the ski lift or bus station every day. The owners and manager were a delight to deal with, arranged lift passes and gave us lots of good tips for other services, such as transfers and restaurants. Great stay - thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fantastic Apartment

The apartment is located in an amazing location a short distance to the Super Châtel bubble and the village. It is well equipped, furnished and decorated to a high standard. Would not hesitate in renting this apartment again.

Tres bel appartement et tres bien situé !

L'appartement est situé à 50 m des remontées mécaniques de super chatel. Tous les commerces sont proches et une fois sur place plus besoin de voiture, tout se fait à pieds. L'appartement est très bien décoré et convient parfaitement pour 6 personnes.
