Nuestra cabaña boscosa privada con chimenea de roca masiva, WIFI y cable

Nuestro privada cabaña de madera se encuentra en el bosque con su propia entrada privada y riachuelo. Tiene todas las comodidades y lujos de la vida moderna, y es agradable y acogedor para hasta 5 personas. Hay un dormitorio privado y un dormitorio tipo loft con dos camas tamaño queen, así un sofá seccional de gran tamaño con una tumbona. Todos los muebles y el interior de la cabina son nuevas y confortables.
La cabina se encuentra aproximadamente a 10 millas desde el lado sur del lago mountain de Smith en coche, y un par de minutos a pie del río Pigg para pescar Bass (aunque tendrá que traer su propio polo).
Nos encontramos en nuestros propios 12 acres que se unen a más de 180 acres de bosque virgen, por lo general, es un montón de la vida silvestre y el paisaje hermoso no importa qué época del año que visita.

Cozy getaway

My husband totally loved it. My dog was very comfortable as well. We set up his bed from home in front of the fireplace and he was out like a light. We couldn’t figure out how to light the fireplace but it was all good because it was warm from the heaters in there. Definitely like to revisit in the summer months.

Cozy, peaceful retreat

The cabin was located in a peaceful and private, gorgeous setting. Inside accommodations for cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Outside had nice fire pit area which we enjoyed in the evening.

Private and secluded

This property was as advertised. The seclusion was absolute. Nice to not hear or see any neighbors or traffic. The house had some nice touches including updated bathroom, nice kitchen appliances and excellent bedding. My couple of suggestions would be to clean up the outdoor space and perhaps finish the kitchen cabinets. The deck table and chairs needed a good cleaning to be useful but we didn't have the supplies to do it. The patio firepit was left rather messy by previous guests. However, we found the creekside firepit to be pleasant. All in all, a good experience and would recommend.

Private, cozy getaway.

The house is located in a small hollow with a stream running near it. No other visible man-made properties to be seen. Extremely private, beautiful natural vegetation. How amenities are basic but OK. Highly recommended.

Peaceful retreat

Quaint, cozy cabin in the woods on a creek. Loved stargazing at night. Great location in Smith Mountain Lake area. Dogs loved running around outside, plenty of open space.

Private cabin get away

Really cute cabin that is private. It was a nice get away and about 30min drive from Smith mountain lake park! You can see that they are updating things in the cabin like the bathroom. The owners Michelle and Lonnie McDonald, are really nice and very responsive! With every question we had, we heard something back within minutes. Also the path for the river was closed and we messaged to find out another access point, She got in contact with one of her neighbors (which was really nice and friendly) an let us use his property to go fishing on the river! 10 out of 10 would recommend And would definitely come back for another weekend get away that's peaceful, clean, friendly neighbors, and respectable owners!!

Lovely!

My husband and I celebrated our first year anniversary together with our pup. Fantastic place, super close to SML (30 minute drive, 15-20 miles away)! Perfect basic amenities and very comfy! Only qualms would be that the check out times were different from my reservation email (11am) from the homeowners binder (10am) which got us a little razzled on check out morning, and the address was off by a number, but with common sense and luckily daylight, we assumed correctly. Thank y’all for sharing your place with us!

Peaceful Getaway

The overall experience of our cabin getaway was very pleasant. I felt that everything we needed to just relax and enjoy nature, was available. Having a campfire at night and looking up at the stars was beautiful. We will gladly come back in the future to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Beautiful Private Country Cabin

We absolutely loved this property. Not quite rustic but country and private enough you can get a bit of that camp feel but with all the amenities of home, even wifi for the city folk who can't quite break away or if you just need it for cell service.. Close enough to town (Gretna) for groceries, shopping or a bite to eat if you don't want to peruse the cabin's kitchen.. Can't wait to get a longer stay in so we can explore the creek and have a campfire or 2.. Michelle and Lonnie answered messages quickly and we had no real concerns. 10/10 recommend <3

A quiet getaway

This cabin fit our needs perfectly! The property description, check-in/check-out instructions, and list of amenities were all very detailed and easy to follow. The house is located in between two large hills, making it a quiet and peaceful place to stay. Everything is clean and comfortable. We'll definitely stay again!
