“Paula and Jamie were so lovely and helpful. They upgraded us to Blue Slate Cottage as we wanted to cook more. They gave us fresh eggs and herbs from the chook pen and garden. Both cottages were were delightful with good facilities and plenty of firewood. There were lots of kangaroos, deer, goats, ducks and an emu on the property. The property is an easy drive Wombeyan Caves and Taralga. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace and quiet an extra day”

“When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. “We had a great time despite the weather being rainy and windy. Kathleen and Ken were so welcoming and made sure we were looked after and even showed us the animals in the rain. “My wife and I had a very relaxing longweek end at Hidaaway far from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. The property was beautiful, well maintained and had all the creature comforts. When heading away for a weekend or longer, we always pack a bag of staples as usually here is sometimes not provided such as salt peper, olive oil and the like.
