For the price I didn't expect anything fancy or even average, but the conditions of this hotel are completely unacceptable. Got our key card and made our way to the building across the front desk ignoring all the shady ppl surrounding the place not thinking much of it. As soon as we enter the hallway, the smell of cigarette smoke smacked us in the face. The hallway and walls looked dirty and run down. It was clear people were living there. Dude across from our room was banging in the door asking for someone, other ppl were just hanging around. Some other guys approached my husband trying to sell random stuff. I've been around drug addicts before so I KNOW exactly what was going on in this hotel. Absolutely nothing about the situation felt safe, especially since we had our son with us. Our key card didn't even work and before we made it back to the front desk we quickly decided we would rather sleep in the car than stay one more second in that place. I was genuinely shocked at the conditions. Thankfully despite the no refund policy, Expedia made a huge effort on our part and made sure we got our refund so I am greatful for that.
