“Was or similar to an old coaching Inn, and layout and ambience reflected this”

“The staff were really friendly and the room was really well appointed and clean. The breakfast was good too. The only drawback with this property is that the rooms are upstairs in a SUPER busy pub. There was a disco downstairs until 2am which there was no escaping from. Thankfully we were out at an event until late so we didn’t have to put up with it for too long and it was quiet once everyone had left.”

The room was appointed to a high standard and the large walk-in shower was exceptional. The facilities at the Poets Hotel are just a minute up the road and a great cafe is virtually next door. The hotel staff are delightful, the bacon butty standout and...

“Lovely location, friendly staff and reasonably priced food. The premises itself would benefit from some updating.”
