The house is attracive and well set up for sleeping, spending time together and viewing nature. The kitchen and dining area is particularly nice and spacious with large windows. The house has a camp-like feel, but is also quite clean and homey. I comfortably slept on a futon in a semi-private nook. The two acre yard is quite spacious and good for recreation. The house is set back a good distance from the road. It has some beautiful trees, especially notable are the large pines. The fire pit is very nice and we used it every night. It is a beautiful and quiet area, and we found the road nice for both biking and walking. The traffic was minimal. There are many good access points on Little Pine Creek for fishing, swimming, floating and wildlife viewing. The location is quite private and pristine. You see some cars and people walking or biking by at times. There is good access to Little Pine State Park. The host was friendly and responsive and offered good suggestions to enhance our stay. We were even able to check in early.
