  • La casa rural independiente en la tranquila aldea de Ouismes, se encuentra dentro del bonito pueblo de Crezieres, un "Village Fleurie '(antes de enero de 2019, una de las comunas más pequeñas de Francia con solo 47 habitantes). En la granja local de cabras puedes comprar leche de cabra, miel y huevos, visitar las cabras y los burros rescatados de Poitevin. Está a 10 minutos en coche / 5 km del Chef Boutonne, donde hay 2 supermercados, varios restaurantes y bares, bancos y otras pequeñas tiendas, incluidos 2 panaderos. El mercado semanal se celebra el sábado en la plaza principal.

Beautiful tranquil stay in the perfect little cottage - the hosts are just lovely and so helpful - the pool and area was a huge bonus. Highly recommend all round.

Une semaine très agréable sous la canicule ! La piscine a été tres appréciée.Amanda et son mari sont des hotes charmants.Un coin que je ne connaissais pas du tout et que j'ai pu découvrir un peu.Merci encore de m'avoir acceptée avec mes lévriers .

Little lovely cottage, and swimmingpool

Our 10 days were lovely. Amanda and Robin are very kind and hospitable. They made our stay comfortable and pleasant. We love the garden and swimmingpool.

Lovely gite, lovely hosts, lovely area

Amanda and Robin are superb hosts, welcoming and full of information about the area and at the same time left us to ourselves to relax. The gite is compact, tidy and comfortable. The pool made our stay.

Lovely Place

I was in this location for second time. It´s always a place to come down, visit nice places and have a relaxing time with my dog. I want to come again there.

10 jours dans la petite maison

10 jours très sympathiques, entourée de nature. Amanda est aux petits soins avec ses hôtes. Pleins de randonnés aux alentours. Maison propre et bien équipée.

Lovely stay

Very nice house, in a small village about 5 mins drive from Chef Boutonne. Very quiet area so easy to walk our dog, with a secure front garden. Well equipped and Amanda and Robin were very welcoming hosts. Loved the swimming pool, especially as it was sooo hot!

Great Half Term Stay

The property is in a pretty hamlet - very close to Chef Boutonne for all amenities, butcher, banks, bakers, supermarket, restaurants and shops. Amanda & Robin were most helpful. The property is immaculate, spacious for a couple and full of character.

A great two weeks our hosts were fantastic and the accommodation and area was lovely. We were made so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We would re visit again but next time fly down as we had a very long car journey.

Perfect!

We enjoyed a brilliant holiday staying at "La Petite Maison". The house is beautiful, with plenty of room and storage for us (and our dog) with everything you need, as well as plenty of space outside with a large covered area and a secure garden. The rural location is fantastic, quiet and surrounded by nature, great for walking, but also just a short drive to amenities, markets, villages and cities. Thank you Amanda and Robin - wonderful hosts and wonderful people. We would strongly recommend "La Petite Maison" for a relaxing and tranquil holiday and very much look forward to visiting again!

Très agréable parenthèse au calme

Petite parenthèse au calme loin de tout, propriétaires charmants et attentionnés( encore merci pour les figues et les tomates du jardin ...), très jolie rénovation de la petite maison bien équipée et décorée avec goût et son jardin bien clôturé... A savoir la piscine n est pas sur le terrain du gîte mais un peu à l écart sur celui des propriétaires avec qui on partage cette dernière.

Séjour ressourçant

Si vous avez, ne serait-ce que quelques jours, comme nous, besoin de vous couper du " monde" ? de calme et de sérénité ? de vous retrouver, tout simplement ? Venez, venez, et vous rencontrerez Amanda et son charmant mari qui vivent semble-t-il, heureux, dans leur petit Paradis. Il vous accueilleront dans leur "petite maison" restaurée par monsieur et dont Amanda revendique avec humour la visite. Et ils vous laisseront le plaisir de vous baigner dans leur piscine nichée au milieu de la végétation.Alors, faites comme nous, vous ne le regretterez pas !

Relaxing Break

Well equipped property for self catering holiday. Short drive from local supermarket. Ideal for couples wanting to relax and chill. ?Pine martins in dry lining of walls at night were quite noisy on occasions and this was reported to owners. Noise abated somewhat by using supplied fan and plug in deterrent. Regular contact with host, who was on hand if needed. Photos on website out of date as gardens not as well kept as in photos.

OUR STAY

An absolutely beautiful location and property. Amanda and Robin made us feel very welcome. I do however have one small criticism and that is that we were only allowed to use the pool and its seating area until 5 pm. We were " clock watching " to ensure that we did not break the rule. I do not recall if this rule was stated in the description of the property. It may seem petty, however, this is the first time in over 20 years visiting France that we were subject to a pool time limit!

Didn't want to leave

Idyllic setting in a tiny village surrounded by farmland. Plenty of walks with very little traffic to worry about. Small town nearby with a couple of restaurants and a supermarket. Historic town of Cognac under an hour away with plenty of shops and bars. The property itself is superb. Very well kitted out with everything that you could possibly need. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect place for a bit of quiet time and a place to relax. Heated pool and a games room with snooker table table-tennis, books and games This place really does have everything including high speed internet Large private garden, absolutely perfect for the dog; Then there is the jewel in the crown which is the lovely hosts living next door Amanda & Robin have been doing this for over a decade and do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. We had car trouble and Amanda fixed us up with a local mechanic and drove us into town whilst our vehicle was being fixed. The only thing that we did wrong was to book for a week when we would have liked to stay for a fortnight at least.

Tranquil haven in the Countryside

Le Petit Maison is a delight! Perfect for an undisturbed get away. The hosts are wonderful and welcoming and the use of their pool was a welcome bonus as the weather was gloriously warm and sunny. The sound of birdsong and frogs in the pond were literally all the noise that there was and the nearest town was a short drive away for amenities. The house has a small kitchen area and lounge wuth an upstairs mezzanine bedroom and shower room and has its own seperate grounds which include a hangar which has lighting, a barbecue and outdoor furniture in.I would most definitely reccomend a stay at Le Petit Maison, and we plan to return for a visit in the future!

Wonderful relaxing stay!

Lovely gite in a fabulous location, we particularly enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden and the fantastic pool was a wonderful bonus! The owners are very friendly and helpful, we had a brilliantly relaxing week and can't wait to visit again!

Peaceful haven
