“Perfectly nestled in the wooded mountains. Totally secluded, with no other visible houses, even in the winter. The layout and decor feels very modern, but comfortable; with a ski theme throughout. The kitchen is well equipped. This would be a perfect rental for a ski/snowboard trip as there’s plenty of room for gear and a great basement entrance to take your boots off. The hot tub seemed very well maintained and was ready upon our arrival. The star gazing from the tub was superb!”

“A great place to enjoy lovely mountain views from the dining area and sunroom. On a clear day you can use the telescope to see the moon's terrain. The cool weather was glorious for sleeping without air conditioner although ACs were in every room if needed. We enjoyed playing fussball, throwing darts, and playing volleyball (brought our own) on the extensive lawn. Cleared paths around the property made morning walks so peaceful and relaxing. “The Vines is a beautiful home with luxurious accommodations. We booked this property because it was perfect for our large family, and it truly exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space for everyone—comfortable beds, great common areas to spend time together, and enough room to spread out when needed. We stayed while attending our daughter’s graduation from Norwich University, and the location was ideal—close enough to town, yet peaceful and tucked away. We had a wonderful experience...

“We spent the night in Mad River Valley at the 1830 House for a weekend event. The house was clean and cosy and it accommodated all of us. The Wifi worked well and we loved the privacy each of us had in our own rooms. We also appreciated the kitchen (there are two, if you book the whole house - one up and one down!). It was close to our venue, the Mad River Barn, too. The only downside (minor) was the steep stairwell to the second floor. There was no railing to guide guests. My 84-year-old mom...
