Pre Christmas break

Second time staying at this property would definitely use it again when visiting family in the area. Nice to be able to come back knowing that it’s a relaxing property with all that you require when not at home! So peaceful!

Wonderful Stay

Hillveiw hideaway is a delightful little place to stay. it was very clean, the facilities were excellent and we had a very nice time.

Beautiful Hideaway! Great location, warm, cosy & a hot tub too! Would love to stay again... Would also recommend Shutters Inn for good food & friendly welcome literally a minutes drive!

Great short break

beautiful elegant property to stay in for our short break away, had everything you required to make it as easy as possible, beautiful modern decor. The hot tub is an excellent added bonus to ensure you really do relax and feel your on your holidays

Weekend getaway

The property was amazing. Very cosy, clean and well looked after. Me and my partner loved our stay and will be recommending to friends. The hot tub was the perfect cherry on top. 10/10 😊

Only thing that could have impr comfort would be a slightly larger sofa

Perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. Lovely private courtyard garden with fab hot tub. Tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean also very well equipped. Highly recommend.

Perfect for a short break

What a beautiful property in a stunning location! The property is fantastically and thoughtfully fitted out, modern and cosy with full set of kitchen utensils, gadgets, pots etc. We couldn't have asked for more! Thank you so much, we would definitely visit again!

Excellent base for exploring the cotswolds and surrounding area.

Amazing facilities. Lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful. Everything you could possibly need for a restful, luxurious stay.extra little touches, like robes, welcome coffees and chocolates. The A/C was a godsend in the mini heatwave. Cannot fault the stay, in fact we didn't want to leave.

High spec beautiful hideaway

The Hillview hideaway has been well thought out and completed to a high spec. The hot tub was a lovely addition and the cleanliness was second to none. Great location for exploring local villages and a lovely walk around Cleeve Hill. The WiFi did keep dropping out whilst watching a movie and was a little expensive for the time of year we visited (January). But as a luxury getaway it was perfect.

Beautiful modern property with a hot tub

Hillview Hideaway was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. We loved the Christmas tree! Everything was brand new, clean and very comfortable. The hot tub was great and the location was perfect for walks and a lovely pub nearby. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend

Great find

We had a great weekend here. The place was spotless. The hot tub was ready to go for our arrival and made for an extra special weekend get away celebrating a birthday. The location was excellent- short drive to the local Parkrun and able to do a long walk from the house. The local pub which is in walking distance served fabulous food at a reasonable price and was lovely to not have to drive. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

A peaceful weekend retreat

A delightful and high spec small retreat. Ideal for a long weekend to explore the local attractions. The jacuzzi is an added bonus. The property has a lot of modern fittings which add to its appeal. WiFi could be improved and the cleaning fee I think is high for a weekend booking which are the only downsides. Owners live next door and are happy to help with any issues that arise.

Lovely relaxing break

Enjoyed a fantastic long weekend at Hillview Hideaway recently. The accommodation is beautifully presented and provides a real home away from home feel. Everything has been thought out to create a wonderful space that's as comfortable as it is practical. All of the furnishings and equipment provided is top quality and in great condition, lighting is all labelled up to avoid confusion, heating system is a simple as you could make it, minor things but they really help you make the most of relaxing and enjoying your well earned break. Not to mention getting to enjoy a soak in the hot tub each night, even in the chilly weather we had it was lovely to dip in there each evening with the robes and sliders provided making for an easy escape back to the warmth of the indoors! Would definitely rebook if returning to the area, great little spot!

Good location for sightseeing

A well decorated, modern property, some lovely touches and very well looked after. Very pretty courtyard garden. Loved the bbq.The hot tub was clean, warm and fabulous (would recommend a handrail for additional safety). Village was central for sightseeing by car and there is a regular bus service in both directions, Gotherington railway station wasn't that close and not sign posted but an amazing view from the bedroom window when the steam trains passed. Overall well equipped but missing some kitchen utensils (potato masher, wooden spoons, oven gloves). Unless they were in a cupboard and we just didn't see them! There weren't any separate towels for the hot tub but we used the ones in the bathroom and washed them mid way through the stay as products were kindly supplied. The bedroom was tricky being in the eaves, as mentioned in the property description, I am 5ft 3 and I found the head room challenging. A small welcome pack would have been a nice touch (bread, eggs for example) although I appreciate that to cater for people with dietary requirements this could be difficult! We thoroughly enjoyed our break at Hillview Hideaway and could easily have stayed a few more days.

High spec

Really high spec accommodation, with everything your could need. Nice location close to Cotswold villages. Lovely comfy bed, only reason it was given a 4 is purely due to the head space in the bedroom, it's not suitable for tall people- this was specified. Would recommend and go use again.

Perfect base for a Cotswold escape

Fantastic property, really well appointed with all the comforts of home and more to suit a Cotswold break. Great pub 10th a walk away, Cleeve hill, Bourton on the Water and Broadway all within easy reach with Cheltenham’s shops and bars only ‘down the road.’ Simon was a great host, had thought of everything and even took the time to post some clothes we left at the propriety - thank you

Lovely place

We stayed for a week in September and we had the best time ever, plenty of high quality facilities, well stocked and a dishwasher. The accommodation was perfect and very Cosy. The hot tub is definitely a nice touch and is fun to use in the rain and cold mornings. Ideal if you have an electric vehicle as you can explore and also not need to worry about power. Would visit again.
