Quiet stay

The cottage is well maintained and in a lovely, quiet location. However, it is only a short walk to Stow on the Wold for the shops and restaurants. It was very relaxing!

Perfect Stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at oxbow. Perfect location for a nice walk into Stow on the wold. The Enclosed driveway & paddocks were perfect to keep our dog safe & give him lots of room to play. Absolutely loved it. Thank you.

my wife and I had a great 3 night stay in oxbow cottage , very clean and comfortable , quiet , great views . Very central for visiting all local attractions. Will be back .

Perfect Cotswold Break

We stayed for 3 nights and everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay and sitting out enjoying the views from the cottage. We hope to return and would reccomend Oxbow Cottage.

Idyllic cottage

Great location, so tranquil, loved all the walks on the doorstep. You don’t need to use your car. Stow only a 10/15 minutes walk where there are an abundance of shops, good quality restaurants, bars and cafes. Dog friendly too. The cottage was comfortable, beautifully clean and had everything you needed. Absolutely loved our stay, thank you!

Away with the dog

A lovely compact place. Ideal for a couple and their dog. A short walk into Stow where we found many place to eat, drink etc.. It was nice to look out over the rolling hills. The weather was kind to us too.

Well located for Stow on the Wold. The property was well equipped and very clean. Parking adjacent the cottage was a bonus. Our only negative observation was that more comfy outdoor furniture would be beneficial. Overall a very nice cottage which we would recommend

Perfect Cotswold stay

We loved our stay at Oxbow Cottage. It was the perfect base for our Cotswold visit. The location was beautiful in the countryside yet a short walk into Stow on Wold where there were delightful restaurants, pubs, wine bars and shopping. It gave us easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. It was perfect. We would love to go back one day.

Beautiful cottage in perfect location! Short walk into the village of Stow! The cottage was quiet and cosy with everything you could need, even dog toys which my dog was very happy with! Would stay here again and already recommended to many people!

Lovely secure garden area for our dog, Fantastic views in a peaceful rural location. Ideally located for our requirements and to explore the Cotswolds. The cottage was clean, well equipped, beautifully furnished and comfortable and we would highly recommend.

Delightful cottage with lovely views

Delightful cottage in a quiet hamlet with lovely views and yet just a short walk away up into Stow and all it facilities, restaurants, shops etc. Comfortable bed and sofa. Lovely double shower and a well kitted out kitchen.We took our dog who thoroughly enjoyed the large paddock for safe off lead exercise. Plenty of parking on the drive. Various places to visit just a short drive away and plenty of walks directly from the cottage.

We had a lovely long weekend at Oxbox cottage. The cottage was well kept, super cosy and in a great location. It was the perfect little home from home. The view from the cottage was beautiful and the dog fenced field was great too.

Excellent stay

Beautiful little cottage suitable for 2 people, excellent location just outside Stow. This was our second stay, perfect if you have a fury friend there are lots of lovely walks. The cottage is very warm, cosy also lovely touches were provided for our arrival. Great food at the Sheep on Sheep St.

What a lovely converted barn in a quiet village with beautiful views over the rolling Cotswold hills. Great attention to detail, cosy and well equipped. Oxbow cottage is the ideal stay for two with an easy walk into Stow on the Wold, well placed to get to all the major attractions and walks straight from your door.

Lovely cottage in a great location.

Oxbow cottage is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. It is situated in a lovely quite location but is just a 15 minute walk into Stow-on-the-wold where there are lots of shops, pubs and cafes. It is in a great location for visiting the many lovely places in the Cotswolds. We would definitely recommend this cottage and will be back again in the future.

Great short stay in this clean and well equipped cottage

This was a last minute booking but we were not disappointed. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival and the accomodation was exactly as described in the listing. A nice surprise was the good standard of kitchen equipment (especially a set of sharp knives!) which was better than often found in ths type of property. The owner was friendly and helped out with a couple of maintenance points very promptly. We will definitely stay again.

Nice cottage, good location.

Overall really enjoyed the solitude but being close to Stow. 1/2 mile walk to town. Small cottage but was enough. We had a couple of small issues but property management was right on it. Cooked in the kitchen a few times - stove is a little challenging to understand. Same with washer/dryer. Peaceful setting.

Wonderful cosy short break

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at Oxbow. The cottage was very clean, the decor was very modern and contemporary. The bed was really comfortable. It is the perfect size for a couple. Our dog loved the paddock, it was such a bonus to have right outside the cottage and the views are wonderful. Just a 10 - 15 minutes walk in to Stow on the Wold.

Amazing week

What’s beautiful cottage in such a lovely part of the world. Cottage was very clean and cosy with everything you need. The surrounding paddocks and views of the valley are wonderful. Literally a 10 min walk to the centre of stow which is such a nice village with plenty of pubs and restaurants. Me, the wife and the dog will definitely be coming back

Great little cottage in a great location

I would highly recommend Oxbow cottage. My husband & I visited the area for 4 nights & it was perfect. Very clean & equipped, with the Nespresso machine a lovely bonus! Check in was easy. The outside space was was secluded & perfect for a BBQ and a glass of wine. The cottage is small but the space well used & ideal for two people. The location was fantastic, in the country & quiet but only a 10 minute walk into Stow.
