“We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. This is our third year vacationing on Nantahala Lake and have tried to stay in different places—this is one of our favorites!From playing in the jacuzzi to tubing on the lake, playing pool to foosball, and relaxing on the multi-level balconies and theater room—it was all so much fun. We dubbed this place the Stairway to Heaven because we counted approximately 222 stairs from the top room to the boat dock—great workout and great fun!”

Loved all the outdoor spaces- though it was too cold for much usage, loved the plethora of pillows and blankets!! The updates were beautiful and the host was extremely welcoming! ”

“Cute and clean little cabin feel. We loved having the comforts of a place to land after a day of adventures. We appreciated the mini kitchenette for having some meals in and the outdoor amenities were amazing. We cooked some wonderful food on the Blackstone grill, and enjoyed the fire pit on the evening it wasn't raining. Lots of great conversations and company. The owner is very hospitable and there are lots of nice thoughtful touches through out. Don't miss out on this one. We hope to stay...

“My family and I came to the area for a weekend getaway to take our son to ride the Polar Express in Bryson City and stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights… and I could say the stay was definitely not long enough! It was a beautiful and quaint little lodge that was tucked away in the wilderness!! “This house has great potential, however the owner has it available for rent when there are numerous issues that need to be fixed. We were notified about two weeks ahead of time that the heat was broken in part of the house. The owner told me if I wanted to cancel, they would understand. Cancelling my rental would mean cancelling our whole Thanksgiving family vacation. Since we had already exhausted our search for another house, we decided to buy a couple space heaters and keep the rental plan....
