This cabin is located close to everything you'll likely need, yet still feels remote enough to give you a trip to the mountains with a stay in the woods vibe.The hosts have thought of pretty much everything to help you enjoy your stay and get to know what's happening and the local attractions nearby. Their communications were timely, and they were very attentive when needed. The cabin was spotless and showed attention to detail.I would rent again in the future.

AMAZING Cabin!

Just WOW!!!!! What a great place. Close to the river but tucked in the woods. The cabin is set up with everything you would need. We only slept in the primary bedroom, but the bed was heaven. If you are looking to stay in Blue Ridge, look no further!

AMAZING LOCATION FOR FAMILY OF 4

Our stay at Sunnyside Cottage was everything we hoped for—and more. This was our first family vacation as a crew of four, and finding a one-story mountain rental that felt safe and comfortable for our adventurous 3-year-old wasn’t easy. But Sunnyside was perfect.Sunnyside is absolutely breathtaking. Waking up each morning to the sound of birds and sharing our breakfast moments watching the deer and chipmunks through the large windows was nothing short of magical. Even caught glimpses of fireflies in the evening was spectacular.The home itself is beautifully maintained with thoughtful touches throughout. The grill and firepit were in excellent condition, and bonus: there are outlets everywhere—which is mostly just an observation we made since we unplugged most of our trip, but something anyone trying to juggle devices will appreciate!The host was kind, communicative, and full of helpful suggestions for exploring the area. We loved the sweet town nearby and especially enjoyed our hike to Falls Branch Falls and Lilly Pad Village—both perfect for our adventurous, nature loving 6- and 3-year old girls. We also took a dip in the Toccoa River over at Horsehoe Bend Park before we had a picnic dinner enjoying some live music and explored blueberry picking at Mercier Orchards just 10-min away.We left wishing we had booked a longer stay. Sunnyside Cottage gave us a peaceful, cozy, and memory-filled start to our family vacationing life. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful cottage

This is the perfect getaway. The cottage was very clean with comfortable bed. The part we enjoyed the most was the magnificent view from the large windows!!! It was beautiful. The outdoor space was well laid out and well maintained.

Soak in the Scenery

Sometimes pictures make places look larger or different than seeing in person, but this place did not disappoint. It was even better than the pictures! First, check in was quick bc they send you a code to the door. Sara was very responsive the entire stay. We really didn't need anything though because everything was in order and worked well. The best part is the floor to ceiling windows. Looking outside was amazing, especially with the Fall colors. The hot tub was fun for the family. We were very comfortable as a family of 4. They had plenty of paper products, and even had soap, conditioner, and body wash in each shower. Everything was so clean. There were several games and puzzles which were fun for kids to play. The location was far enough from the city where you felt almost alone on the mountain, yet town was a 15-20 min drive and easy to access. It was nice having the general store and one restaurant just a mile away. This area was no where near as crowded as Gatlinburg or some more tourist areas. Downtown Blue Ridge was definitely busy though since there was a festival. This location has a few trail heads within a 5 min drive. Also gem mining/mini golf within that distance as well. Our favorite activities with kids were the Swan Drive In Theater in Blue Ridge, Amicalola Falls, Lily Pad Gem Mining, and Fall Branch Falls hike. Driving up past Fall Branch Falls is a beautiful drive down a less traveled gravel road.

Very pleased!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. We were secluded enough to be away from town, but not to far to go for anything we may have needed. Watching the wildlife out the huge windows while overlooking the mountains was a great view to wake up to every morning. Although it is not listed as accessible, it was accommodating for my wheelchair bound husband with very minimal assistance needed. Will definitely be returning.

Beautiful cabin!!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautifully designed cabin. The location and design of the cabin along with floor to ceiling windows provided a wonderful mountain view. We enjoyed a nice relaxing evening grilling out and soaking in the hot tub. The cabin is only a short drive to area attractions, supermarket and neighboring towns of Ellijay and Blue Ridge. We highly recommend and hope to return soon.

Perfect Impromptu Destination 😊

We were sooo pleased to find this beautiful cabin available for a last minute overnighter. Spent the day kayaking in Elijah, shopping and dining in Blue Ridge and ended the day going “full prune” in the hot tub for hours! Sara was super responsive and the property was everything we hoped for; we will definitely be booking a longer stay in the near future. Sidenote, I highly recommend Tea Tree massage, in Blue Ridge. Didn’t think we could be much more relaxed but I stand corrected, lol. -Mike & Kelly

We had a great time during our stay at Sunny Side Cottage. The place was very clean and well mentained. Rooms are very comfortable. The hot tub was great.The overlooking views of the mountain from the wall of windows was perfect. A very quite and relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back !

Wonderful

Just what we needed!! Perfect for some good quality time! We went to the falls it was beautiful…. Make sure you have good shoes as the hike is all up hill and about 3/4 of a mile. But definitely worth it! Home was beautiful and hot tub was great to relax in after exploring all day! We ate at Masseria Kitchen and it was very good pizza!! Will definitely be back!

Spring Getaway

Everything was great! The cabin was just the right size and accommodating for what we were looking for which was a quite and relaxing trip. The views were nice and it was easy access in and out. Me and my wife took my mom and dad to get them out of town for a few days. My dad is handicapped and this cabin is all on one level and has a walk in shower in the master bedroom which made things lots simpler for the rest of us. The back deck has easy access from the master bedroom. The best part was the fireplace. It was cool enough one night to build a fire. Even though my dad cant talk due to a stroke he let me know he wanted a fire built so I built one and turned the tv on for him. The rest of us walked outside for a few minutes and when i went back to check on him he wasn't watching tv he was sitting there watching his fire through the glass windows in the fireplace. It was a very nice stay. Thanks for sharing your place with us Sara. Lots of memoires were made with my parents at SunnySide Cottage.

Absolute Perfection!

This cabin exceeded our expectations. First of all, it was spotless. The furniture was so comfortable. The beds were comfy too. Everything was special down to the soap and shampoo they supplied. The floor to ceiling windows on two full walls was amazing. The views were breathtaking and all you had to do was sit on your couch to see them! Sara was wonderful at communication too. We could not have loved this place more and cannot wait to return.

Great cabin and location

Every bit of this place was wonderful! Sunrise and coffee from the wall of windows looking into the mountain. Cozy and inviting kitchen, living and dining room. Wonderful hot tub to relax in after hiking nearby. Couldn't have asked for better. We will definitely be back!
