Perfect place to relax

We came to Chestertown to relax for a few days and celebrate my birthday. The house was perfect. Located on the water in a quiet neighborhood, we enjoyed sitting outside, reading, and watching the ospreys hunting fish to feed their two chicks who were in the nest located on the house dock. The house was comfortable, clean, and peaceful.

Long weekend college graduation

A group of us stayed for Washington College graduation. The unit was very clean and well maintained . The hot tub was very nice feature. The best part was the screened in porch and sunset views overlooking the water.

Wonderful waterfront stay

Beautifully designed and decorated house in a residential neighborhood. Plenty of comfortable places inside and out to gather. Just a short drive to town, but far enough away to escape the traffic and crowds. Access to the water is a little tricky as there is a short but steep bank and the dock is rather high above the water

Chestertown Getaway

The house and property were wonderful! The views from the patio, deck and porch were magnificent! The lightning in and outside of the house was warm and welcoming. The owners had a welcome basket of goodies in the counter in the kitchen when we arrived! Such a nice touch! The house was detailed with so many amenities , from shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms to a well stocked kitchen where everything was new and beautifully organized. We loved it!

Eastern Shore Paradise

Everything about our stay was delightful. Not even tropical storm Debby could put a damper on our stay and visit with family in Chestertown. The property is remarkable and the setting incomparable. Stunning sunsets on the Chester River were equaled by the comfort and style of Harbor View Haven.

A great place on the water. Very clean inside and out. The outdoor spaces were fantastic and provided a great space for hanging out. It was also fun getting to know the small town of Chestertown - farmers market was excellent.

Perfect House

Could not recommend more highly. The house was as described, except for a prettier view that photos simply can’t do justice. A memorable family retreat

From the moment we stepped into the property, we were taken aback by the sheer beauty of the home. It was evident that a lot of thought and care had been invested in making sure guests felt right at home. The decor exuded warmth, and every little detail, from the furniture to the finishes, had been chosen with meticulous attention. What particularly stood out for us was how well-stocked the house was. It wasn’t just about having enough utensils or linens; it was the quality and variety that truly impressed. We had everything we could possibly need, and then some. It's rare to find a vacation home that caters to its guests' needs so thoughtfully. Chestertown itself was a delightful surprise. We found plenty of places to visit, keeping our family entertained throughout our stay. From quaint shops to scenic parks, it's a town that offers a mix of relaxation and adventure. Without a shadow of a doubt, we would come here again. To those considering a stay, our family can wholeheartedly say: you will love it!

Fabulous!

Nothing but great things to say about the property. Immaculate, great layout, plenty of activities. My husband's favorite thing was the coffee maker and mine was the screened in porch where we played card games every night (followed closely by all the eagle spottings!). A perfect spot to spend a weekend with the family.

Beautiful Home! Wonderful Family Getaway!

Our family had a wonderful stay here. The house was impeccably clean, beautiful, and fully stocked with anything we could need. We love to cook, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more - including a beautiful view! We had a great time on the water. It was almost impossible to pull the kids away! Kids and adults both enjoyed water toys, kayaks, and just relaxing on the dock. I’d give this property more than 5 stars if I could!

Great Place for a Relaxing Stay

This is an outstanding property that lives up to any traveler's expectations. The home is very clean and offers so many ways to relax and unwind - from comfortable sofas and the "boat bed" (great for afternoon naps), to the hot tub just off the screened-in porch. The back of the house, with its large picture windows facing the water, offered us many opportunities to watch gorgeous sunsets, as well as extremely active birdlife (think Bald Eagles and Ospreys, as well as Blue Herons). For more active pursuits, kayaks and canoes can be dropped right into the water from the property's dock. We also used this property as a launching point to explore much of what the Eastern Shore has to offer with its historic towns, especially with Chestertown only a five-minute drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and were thrilled to have found such a great property.
