As far as Alishan accommodation goes, this is likely far and away the nicest option. And it very well should be considering what theyāre charging per night. Compared to another hotel I stayed at the night before in Alishan, this is a 6 star hotel. But compared to a lot of places Iāve stayed at in more expensive cities charging the same amount or less, itās pretty absurd what theyāre asking for. On the bright side breakfast, dinner, transport, laundry are all included. Not that that covers the cost. Iām chalking it up to supply and demand with hotels in Alishan. But the day someone opens up a relatively nice, well located hotel in the area, this place will have to drop its rates to stay competitive.
Best part no doubt is the location. Could not be more conveniently located to the beauty of Alishan. Thereās a Starbucks inside that charges too much too but itās necessary given the breakfast coffee is essentially caffeine free.
