Clean, modern, comfortable stay just steps to the Loyola Beach. Quiet neighborhood minutes from Sheridan Rd and Lakeshore Dr for easy downtown access, and a train stop is 3 blocks away. We loved seeing the sunrise over Lake Michigan!

Great location, safe, clean neighborhood. Unit was spotless, fully stocked, and first class. Our host Diane was an absolute superhero. We had a few bumps and wrinkles on the way to check in and Diane was there for us. She really went above and beyond to get us settled in and made sure that we made it to the Bulls game on time. Highly recommend this property and host.

The property was exactly as listed. It is truly just steps to the beach and is conveniently located near the redline train station. The host, Diane, provided wonderfully detailed check-in and property access instructions that were accurate and easy to follow. Clean, well stocked with any and all essentials, new appliances in kitchen. Overall an excellent property and would definitely stay here again.

Nice spot for a weekend stay! The host was communicative and rooms were as described. Comfy couch and nice seating areas on the front and back porches. There was not any coffee that we could find. The beach being right there is a big bonus! And not far from the red line and various restaurants/stores.

Everything was 'as advertised'. Very clean apartment. Street deadends at the beach which is just a few feet from the front door of the apartment. That made it a very quiet street. Safe neighborhood with convenience store nearby and several eating places.

I love this rental and I hope to return, the hosts are welcoming, friendly and easy to talk to. My one joke, in no way intended to take away from the glory of this rental, they have a strawberry stemmer, pineapple corer, kiwi peeler, apple slicer, cherry pitter, lemon zester, citrus juicer a bagillion wine glasses but not one serving spoon:)

We loved staying here! It’s a perfect way to experience Chicago. The beach is steps away, the neighborhood is beautiful and its blocks away from the L. We went downtown everyday and caught a game at wrigley and never had to get our car out of the parking garage! If you are driving to Chicago a parking spot is a must, we never would have gotten a spot out front. The only suggestion would be a shade on the front porch, on the east side (beach side). The neighbors have a sun porch and they don’t use window shades so it felt a little weird hanging out there when they were napping but didn’t stop us! The front porch is a perfect spot to hang out and enjoy a coffee or beer at night :)… we would recommend Diane’s place to anyone and we will be cack for sure!

Chicago summer getaway

This is the place to stay while visiting Chicago in the summer. It's a short walk from the L station red line and steps from the beach. The host provided towels and beach chairs, which made packing for our trip easy. The beach was clean and has lifeguards, it was never overly packed, even on a 95 Saturday. The apartment was immaculately clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils. I enjoyed drinking my coffee in the morning on the front porch too. The air conditioning was effective, so no one was hot. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Beautiful & L Accessible Stay!

We stayed here for a long weekend, and this was a perfect stay. Literal steps to the beach and lake, which you can see from the porch, was a real treat! Super accessible walk to the L made it easy to get around. Our host Diane was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The amenities were great and everything was convenient and comfortable. We’d love to visit here again and can’t recommend enough!

Perfect location

We were visiting our kids who go to college in the area. It was such a great location and place to meet up. The garage was a nice plus - we just parked for the weekend and rode the el to get around. The apartment is well appointed and cozy.

Perfect location, friendly neighborhood

The place was exactly as described, clean, modern and easy to find. Off site parking is a little difficult as it is in an alley way and only fits small to mid size vehicle. You're backing skills will be tested and you have to embrace your inner Austin Powers. The biggest issue we had was the upstairs apartment because they were very loud the first night, but that wasn't something the hosts could control.

Fall Break

I know there are already a number of positive reviews about this place, but I'm adding one more. I grew up in Chicago but have moved out of state for the last 20ish years. This is the type of place I would LIVE in. I loved it. Here is a rundown of all the things I loved: *THE LAKE - I took a walk on the lake every morning *The outdoor space on the front and back of the unit is covered and usable *The couch in the living room is so comfy *The beds were very comfy *Everything is updated - kitchen, bathrooms, washer/dryer *The "little" things - shampoo, soap, pancake syrup, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, detergent, TWO PLY toilet paper! *Communication with Diane was clear and quick It was a great stay. After long and tiring days out and about I felt like I was coming home.

amazing home in an incredible location

This house was everything I could have imagined and more! Just steps to the lake and a beautiful path. And a couple of blocks to coffee, sushi and all manner of food. The Whole Foods is walking distance. the house is beautiful, well appointed, and warm. I'll be back!!
