Great location, safe to walk, close to grocery, cafes and restaurants. Easy access to station. I was not aware that we were going to stay in basement floor. The information on site must be transparent and clear. Areas for improvement; 2 bunk beds, slippery steps. I fell down and hurt my arm. Kitchen utilities are very poor. Plastic plates, cookware are not healthy. Mini oven is to small to handle. We could not cook meal. You can hear the conversation and any other sounds from upstairs. When they wake up, you wake up for sure!!

Clean a convenient to downtown Chicago! Utilized the cts while we were here which was also convenient. It would be nice it there was a full set of sheets…both top and bottom. The top sheet was missing on all the beds.

This unit truly is a hidden gem in the area! My wife and I stayed in this unit on a recent trip to visit some of the Chicago museums. This unit did not disappoint. Having 2 teenage daughters often means 2 separate hotel rooms or the girls doubling up on a bed and complaining about it. This unit gave us 3 beds amongst 2 bedrooms giving the girls space and us parents privacy, and barely cost more than one hotel room by itself. The location is a very short walking distance from the L station, so leave you can leave your car behind when headed to the attractions. Honestly, this will turn into our "go-to" place to stay when visiting. The unit was clean, spacious, and provides every amenity. I found the apartment to be well decorated and furnished. Ample seating was available for our group, the kitchen had anything we needed, the host was communicative, and the water was hot in the shower. Honestly, it felt like home away from home. If you are planning a stay in Chicago, this place definitely deserves a look. Free off-street parking! Local restaurants and shopping within a 3 minute walk! Quiet and comfortable!

Perfection!

Easy to get to and SO close to the train station. Cute little neighborhood with plenty of restaurants to walk to. The place was so clean and nice. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!! Came here on a girls trip and felt very safe. Highly suggest!

Spacious and comfortable. Close access to downtown.Temperature control is offsite requiring email communication to have it adjusted. Unit was chilly during our stay. Easy communication with host but it seemed to return to base temperature each day and didn't want to have to email continually to get it to a more comfortable temperature.

Our first Family Trip to Chicago

Quiet area on outskirts of Chicago. Close to everything. Clean and great for pets. Even though this place is petfriendly you would never know any animals have ever stayed there because it is so clean. Very good experience!

Nice stay near the big city

My friend and i stayed at this listing to explore the Windy City and to see a speaker in Near North. We found the proximity to the 'L' made it very easy to travel to take in some local sights. We found a few things in the rental not quite up to par but the overall stay was a positive one. We would consider booking this listing in the future.

Great place to stay for trip to a Cubs Game

Our family stayed here when we went to a couple Cubs games. Safe neighborhood and clean and comfortable apartment. Property manager was quick to reply to any questions or requests we had. We will try to stay here again next time we watch the Cubs.

Comfortable basement apartment in great location

Me and my sons were in town for a football game and enjoyed our stay in this comfortable basement apartment. Oak Park is a great little suburb of Chicago with a great selections of restaurants and nearby shopping. The hosts were easy to communicate with when our code to get in the apartment didn’t work. World recommend this place for smaller parties 3-4 people and would stay here again.

Cozy place right outside of big city!

Our party of 2 adults, 2 teens, and one child felt comfortable during our 5 night stay. Had a fenced in back yard and beautiful quiet neighborhood perfect for our chihuahua too. Very short walks to nearby grocery, cafe, restaurants, bank, and tram station. We enjoyed riding tram to downtown Chicago. Bnb provided towels, dishes, and plenty of other amenities for our stay. We enjoyed our stay and didnt want to go home!
