Only needed some serving and cooking spoons, spatulas, etc., but as I was in a cooking class and not doing much cooking in the apartment it wasn't an issue. Lovely little spot, convenient, very comfortable and the host was available for any questions all hours of the day. Great stay.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and very well located in Lincoln Square. We could walk to many cute restaurants and shops and it was very close to the brown line. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great apartment in the heart of Lincoln Square. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bed was comfortable and there are a lot of amenities and public transportation close by. I will definitely be staying hear again!
The Davis Theatre where you can catch a movie. Right across the street from the apartment
Soujorn Bar (attached to the Davis), grab a drink before your movie at the Davis.

This was a wonderful, cozy stay! The fridge had ice, which is something I always appreciate! We stayed for 3 nights. The neighborhood is quiet, but adorable! Pharmacy, coffee, gift stores, dinner, within a couple minutes of walking. One thing to note - the brown line train and station are right there, 2-3 minute walk. Which means that the location is VERY convenient to get to downtown (the Loop). That being said, keep in mind that you can hear the train pass by every 20ish minutes. The host provided earplugs, which is very thoughtful, and the noise is not too bad with the windows closed.We went all over Chicago during our trip, and found a bus or a train to take is anywhere, within a short walk from our stay. The apartment was a very peaceful, clean, accommodating location to decompress after a day of travel and bustle. Highly recommended, and we would absolutely stay again!

Great location. Very clean and had everything we needed. Host was very responsive. Our only complaint was how hard the mattress was. It was too firm for our comfort.

There are a couple things you should know about this apartment. First of all, it's up three flights of narrow stairs, so be willing to haul your luggage up. Secondly, when I took my luggage into the bedroom, I noticed a couple packages of earplugs on the nightstand. I wondered about it for about 5 minutes, until the elevated light train went by. The rail is just across the street, with constant trains, although the rate slows during the night. I'm not noise averse, even though it was loud at times, so it worked out OK. But, this may make a difference to you. The owners were quick to respond every time I communicated. Unfortunately, there was no water at the kitchen sink, and though I was assured that it would be fixed the next day, it was still not working after my week long stay. Because of my schedule, all of my meals were out, so getting water from the bathroom sink was inconvenient, not a disaster. This is an old apartment within a couple minutes walk to Lincoln Square, where all of my activities were. Because of the location, despite the stairs, the train track noise, and the water issue that will get repaired, I would probably stay here again if I have business in the same location. It was not a negative experience, but I wanted to give you more information than what you get with the listing.

Location could not be beat. Right off of Lincoln Avenue with all of the shops and restaurants. Close to the Western Avenue Brown Line station. The apartment was clean and modern in a classic Chicago courtyard style apartment building. I did not do any cooking, but the kitchen looked solid. Neighbors were quiet and the bed was comfortable! I'd stay here again.

For it being an older building and the silly things that come with that, it was so close to coffee, record shops, parks and even a library. Loved how close it was to explore Chicago but be in a cozy place. Neighbor was quiet, which I enjoyed. Definitely will book again.

Great location

This is our second time in this apartment. It’s great for a short stay. Only real complaint is the mattress is really hard. Hubby and I both have sore backs today but that’s just personal preference. Right in the heart of the square though. You cannot beat the location.
