Situado en una calle tranquila y arbolada en el vecindario Edgewater / Andersonville de Chicago, Magnolia Studios ofrece una selección de alojamientos únicos en Chicago a solo cinco minutos de la playa ya treinta minutos del centro de Chicago.

Todas las unidades ofrecen cocinas totalmente equipadas, lujosos cuartos de baño, televisores LCD con paquete completo de cable, computadoras portátiles con internet inalámbrico gratuito, camas de tamaño queen excepcionalmente cómodas con colchones / ropa de cama de lujo y lavandería en la unidad. Very nice, comfortable and clean studio apartment in a lovely setting. I also appreciated the well stocked bathroom (plenty of towels and boxes of Kleenex). The directions for entering, door codes were clear.

Andersonville Oasis

We loved our stay in the studio. It was perfect for our family visit and Chicago adventures. The neighborhood was great and close to the lake and train. I would highly recommend and stay there again.

Quaint studio in the backyard carriage house with beautiful greenery. Took a little navigation around the side to get to so might be difficult with large suitcases. Super clean and well stocked. Loved having fridge and coffee pot.

Truly a hidden gem!

My daughter and I loved our time here. From the first steps through the gate we felt comfortable and welcome! Great bed and linens, beautiful bathroom, and excellent kitchenette. Everything we needed was there and the charm and coziness of this little carriage house really had us wishing our stay was longer!. We will absolutely look forward to staying here again! 10/10 recommend!

Excellent Cozy Studio!

I stayed here while attending a conference at Loyola University. The studio was clean, cozy and very well-equipped! The neighborhood was quiet and close to many restaurants and the El. Great place! Would choose again!

Wonderful Stay

My SO and I had a wonderful stay here! The suite was very clean and had everything we could've needed. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The Red Line Train was a 5-7min walk which made our day to day travel super easy! The owner was very kind! We would definitely stay here again!

Carriage house with character in fun Chicago neighborhood

Lovely, clean space behind a pretty Victorian house with all the needed amenities. Short walk to the beach and the El train. We are vegetarian and had a delicious meal at Alice’s Kitchen a block away. Hosts were responsive and I would definitely stay again if in Chicago.

The property is beautiful,clean, and quiet. Its just a short walk to the red line, or a 20 min uber to the city. The studio is a great size for 2 people on a trip to Chicago.

In the Garden

Not the smoothest of spring breaks… We found our self in the local hospital with kidney stones, and Cate could not have been more compassionate towards our plate. We were so grateful to come home from such a trauma to a clean, safe, and wonderfully comfortable bed. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellence abounds! Excellent studio. Excellent decor. Excellent cleanliness. Excellent location on the north side. Excellent host! Towels are decent; thick and bright white! And host is not stingy with supplying what is needed for a comfortable stay. My husband and I highly recommend this host’s carriage house studio.

great stay in Chicago

We really loved out stay at Magnolia Studios. The apartments are very nice and reasonably priced, and the location is very convenient, being so close both to Andersonville and a CTA Red Line station. The host was wonderful and was very helpful despite being in recovery from illness. We were very happy all around.

Beautiful

The place is like a cottage in the woods, I loved it! I walked to the beach every day, made coffee in the morning, the shower was beautiful and everything was spotless. Kate was so friendly and helpful. I will be back as my son lives nearby and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else!!

The perfect home base for a Chicago getaway!

The perfect place for a safe, comfortable, and convenient stay in Chicago. Ideal location. Well equipped with everything you need. Very accommodating and easy to navigate. Kate and her husband are awesome. We had a minor issue with the TV and they were very quick to help and make things right. You will not be disappointed with this gem of a place!

Lovely stay and host!

Such a cute property and lovely neighborhood. We enjoyed being close enough to walk to the lake shore/beaches. Driving into downtown took a bit longer with traffic to do some of the “tourist” stuff but there were plenty of great places to eat and shop close in Andersonville, Edgewater, Rogers Park, etc. too. Kate was a great host and made everything easy. Thank you!

Great neighborhood, great value

Awesome value. Street parking was relatively easy to find in front, or within a few blocks. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. The studio apartment was large enough to fit a cot (provided) and two suitcases comfortably. It is a cute vintage studio with an updated bathroom. You can hear the garage door open below, but was during reasonable times when we were already awake. There is an abundance of provisions provided: fresh towels unlimited water, fresh sheets, cots, sleeping bags, extra pillows etc, that were an incredible touch.

Nice little studio cottage

Cute place, in a walkable neighborhood with Whole Foods to the North and Walgreens to the South. Access to the studio felt a little like entering the door to Narnia. No cupboard, but a narrow wooden gate. Quick access to public transport (Bryn Mawr/Thor Dale) on the Red Line. Got a pull out bed from the landing for out son. Perfect for our family of 3! The only thing we would like to change for our stay was the weather!

Amazing Studio in Spectacular Neighborhood

Liked: Booking process was easy with detailed information and policies and photos. Studio located in great artsy Edgewater neighborhood with many shops and restaurants to explore. Plenty of street parking right near (within a block of) the studio. Access to studio was easy with provided codes. The studio description matched perfectly what we encountered. The large well lit studio is located in secure building above garage just behind main house. Studio had wood floors, secure windows, and plenty of lighting fixtures. The inside was quiet and comfortable with an overhead fan and wall mounted modern smart thermostat. Everything we needed for our weekend stay was available. There was a queen sized well made bed with many pillows. Kitchen was well appointed with flatware and silverware and had coffee and tea available for preparation. There was a two burner stove and small oven and refrigerator. Bathroom had walk-in shower, sink and toilet with plenty of towels (extra were available in the hallway storage dresser. There was a table for eating with two chairs and a work desk with its own chair. A remote control for the overhead fan along with information about the area and Chicago was on the desk. There was enough floor space for yoga and stretching. All of these features made the stay simply wonderful and wanting for us to return.Dislikes: None that we encountered.
