“Quality for value, the place is "get what you pay for." It's located in China town, which sounds great, except you will NOT sleep!!
The hotel is situated above a street market that begins setting up (screaming vendors, metal tables and stands slamming!!!) at 5am. The market is open till nearly 1am.
Our room was spacious and relatively clean, but smelled of fish (courtesy of the street market) and cigarettes. Breakfast was a bowl of something swimming in oil. The wifi worked great, which is...

“Very nice hotel. Very kind staff at reception. Good breakfast. Super clean. Close to Chinatown, so the neighborhood was so-so, but standard for Yangon. The only downside for me was that there was no elevator, and with a huge suitcase getting to the 4th floor, up or down, was quite tiresome.”

“On the same floor as the room I stayed in, a Chinese man was smoking and had the door to his room completely open, so the whole floor was filled with the smell of his cigarettes.
And his phone was ringing very loudly.
Even if you try to order room service, you have to order a very unappetizing meal.
Other than that, the cleaning staff are very kind.
For the same price, they are flexible to accommodate nearby Pan Pacific, so I found it useful, but recently they have become stricter and the...

“On arrival questions about who Expedia.ca was. Booked superior nonsmoking room, twin beds. Taken to gritty room with dbl bed, multiple cig. Burns on bathtub rim. Changed to rm w. twin beds, fewer cig burns. Bathroom grimy, lack of maintenance everywhere. 24 hour/day very loud traffic noise. Not a 4-star hotel as advertised!!! Far too pricey for value.”

“The hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway, it’s sent within a golf country club, which is great. My only inconvenience was unrelated to the hotel, but apparently there’s a venue near by with hugely loud speakers which started music at 4am and it didn't stop probable after 9am. That’s when tranquility ended. ”
