“We thoroughly enjoyed this house. Solid construction weathered the storm that blew through one day. Sparkling clean throughout, carpet was new, sofa was super comfy for sitting or lounging on. There was a stool in the closet for reaching higher cabinets so I was glad to see previous complaints in reviews had been addressed. “Very cute house with sufficient bathrooms and space for a family group. Great view out front to the dock and marsh, although fishing and kayaking not really possible since channels aren’t open there. Free fishing downtown and at nearby memorial park so not a biggie. We could see the lighthouse with naked eye and ponies with binoculars across the way. Bikeable to the Asseteague Island preserve and downtown. Kayaking very nearby- lots of fun things to do. Two very minor beefs-AC great downstairs...

“We had a nice stay. It was just me, my wife and our dog there were no issues. If you are gong with a family note that the only way to the bathroom is through the master bedroom. And the bed in the master is only a full size. Other than that the place was very clean and equipped with all the necessities. Property management was excellent and checking with us making sure that all was well. Close to everything you need.”

“We had a lovely time, it WAS a shore joy! Honestly the location was great, the house and yard were thoughtfully planned and comfortable. Plenty of places to hand with family and enough little nooks to be by oneself. The home had everything we needed! We hope to return again next year.”

“Cypress cottage was wonderful. Fully equipped is an understatement! It had everything my family needed and then some. Though the house is a little bit away from the main spots and restaurants, it is extremely peaceful and quiet. The front yard is a treasure. Nothing beats laying in the hammock under the shade of the tree in the afternoon after a great day at the beach! Though our family had a house on the island (which was being renovated this summer) we would definitely recommend this...
