Superb Property

What a lovely place to stay! Warm, comfortable, well equipped. Lovely surroundings for long walks or nipping out to the local villages. A very nice welcome basket with lots of goodies!

Lovely Easter Break

We had a lovely break at Groves Barn, 4 adults and 4 children aged 7 months to 14 years and it was perfect for us all. The barn was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed for a break away from home. The children enjoyed the play area and we made the most of the Cotswolds and the great weather. Andrew and Clare were very welcoming and on hand for anything we needed.

Stunning few days!

We had a wonderful long weekend. Eight of us on a university reunion. The barn was so well appointed with every mod con and delightful little touches. All the bedrooms, kitchen and living space were immaculate and the welcome basket was much appreciated.

Wonderful 4day stay

Grove Barn was even better than we thought from the pictures! It was perfect for our family group which included a 1yr old who loved the horses on the farm and the play area. The interior of the property was clean, airy, very spacious for a group, nicely decorated and well equipped. We loved sitting out for meals and drinks in the two outside seating areas, enjoying the views and the peaceful setting.Andrew, the host was very friendly and helpful. There are beautiful Cotswolds villages and walks close at hand and Stratford is an easy drive. We loved it here and hope we can come back.

Lovely place!

Fantastic weekend at Groves Barn - the setting is wonderful and the children loved looking out for the rabbits and watching the horses. Brilliant outdoor space and plenty of room indoors for 4 adults and 4 children. Can’t wait to return

Fabulous relaxing countryside experience

The property is absolutely amazing, with its old wooden beams, large windows overlooking charming fields and a large terrace where one can light up a fire at night The hosts are very responsive, welcoming and helpful Finally the area offers fantastic walks, which makes the trip very relaxing when you are lucky to get some sunshine!

Ideal Cotswold Stay

We had the most wonderful time staying in this house. It's beautifully decorated with rustic charm as you'd want while staying in the Cotswolds. Clare and Thomas were helpful every step of the way including reccomendations in the neighboring town. I would highly suggest staying here for a lovely weekend.

Beautiful farmhouse stay

Lovely property on what looks like a working farm. Acres of space inside, clean and tidy, nice equipment (eg not skimped and saved on filling it inside with cheap white goods). Nice and quiet on the farm, so good night's sleep. Any criticisms will certainly be minor (eg. Felt like I was sitting in a goldfish bowl with no window coverings in lounge area) but in a farm, nobody around! All in all, good time had by all.

Great property in a perfect location

We have just returned from Groves Barn following a week’s stay with 8 adults and 3 (very well behaved) dogs. It’s a beautiful barn conversion on a pet friendly site, with immediate access to lovely and if you want it, challenging walking/bike riding. Andrew was the perfect host happy to chat but discrete and respectful of the barn and it’s grounds. Would strongly recommend.

Excellent property

The property was first class very well equipped for 8. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Couldn’t fault it. The location was perfect as were the views . Walking in the area was very good which was important as we had our 2 dogs with us. Clare and Andrew were the perfect hosts. Thank you to you both.
