“We picked this hotel as a stopover on our journey. We chose it as the restaurant looked good.
We got the last room available, it was small but very comfortable.
Dinner that evening was excellent as was the breakfast next morning couldn’t fault a thing. ”
“Very welcoming from young lady at reception, room clean & comfortable with good shower, although could do with rubber safety mat as quite slippery.
Good breakfast with quick service from same young lady, seems she was running the place single handed, a good jib shr was doing too. Would certainly stay again.”
“The hosts were a lovely couple very helpful and made us very welcome The room was well decorated and extremely clean.With a good supply of sachets for hot drinks and a fridge downstairs where we could help ourselves to milk and juice.And the breakfast was excellent.Would definitely stay there again and recommend them to family and friend. ”

“Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.”
“It has only been 2 months since my last stay here and it was as good as ever. Staff as always were really friendly and make you feel at home. I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening meal as well as a great breakfast. A decent night's sleep set me up for the day and I look forward to coming back here.”

“Hotel was well run and the chef kindly cooked some food of mine due to numerous dietary restricttions, and did it beautifully. Dog was welcome and much kindness shown to both of us. Would highly recommend particularly to solo travellers or those with dog.”

“We stayed in the garden suite. It was lovely. My only criticism would be that one of the legs on the futon in the living room area was broken. Our Daughter said the bed in the smaller bedroom wasn't very comfortable so we used spare duvets and a blanket to make it more comfortable. The small garden area was ideal for our dogs to be able to give them some space to toilet etc. The food in the pub was very nice, my only criticism would be the lack of vegetarian options. Overall we enjoyed our stay....
