spent months carefully planning this trip because it was a special gift for my parents. I wanted them to have a beautiful and memorable experience, so it was incredibly disappointing that our very first hotel on the itinerary turned out to be such a stressful experience.
The problems began before we even checked in. The address provided by the hotel was inaccurate, making it extremely difficult for our DiDi drivers to locate the property. Despite showing them the exact address listed by the hotel, we were repeatedly dropped off at the wrong locations. Unfortunately, this wasn’t just an issue on our arrival day. Throughout our entire stay, getting back to the hotel was a constant hassle. After spending long days exploring the city, the last thing we wanted was to struggle every evening just to find our way back to our accommodations.
What made this even more frustrating was the hotel’s lack of assistance. The hotel had advertised a 24-hour butler service, which they personally confirmed through messages. However, when we contacted them for help locating the property, we were essentially told to figure it out ourselves. I have screenshots of both their confirmation of the 24-hour service and their unhelpful responses when we actually needed assistance. It was extremely disappointing to be promised a service that was not provided, especially when the issue stemmed from the hotel’s own inaccurate address. (I’ll continue)
