Cosy ex Railway Cottage with WiFi & EV charger

  • The cottage sleeps 4 in a double bedded and twin bedded room. A walk in shower with w.c. and washbasin is located on the first floor. Downstairs a cosy lounge for relaxing with smart TV and a selection of books and games. There is a well equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge ,oven and microwave and a sunny conservatory. Plenty of glassware and crockery. We have outside space for when the sun shines! Parking available . In the outhouse you will find a washing machine and more freezer space.
    There is plenty of information on local attractions, walking suggestions and dining options.

A perfect spot for a country break away. Everything we needed was provided. An excellent base for visiting favourite spots in South Shropshire. Station Inn is literally across the road from the cottage with a good choice of food and a great atmosphere. Excellent communications with the owners. We hope we can come again.

Lovely property! Good communication with host. Lots of supplies! Please ask for directions for parking in the back; neighbors blocked parking in the front in such a way that it was almost impossible to maneuver into the spot. Note also that it does NOT have a clothes dryer.

Close to Shropshire Hills

We really enjoyed staying in the cottage. It was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. It's a great location for walking in the Shropshire Hills, and for visiting places in the area.

Simply wonderful!

What a lovely cosy cottage, it felt like home! We had everything we needed and so much more! Perfect location for hikes and a pub serving great food just across the road, we had a wonderful couple of days and will definitely be back!

Comfortable and relaxing accommodation

The property is well set up and very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful, too. The location is ideal for exploring the local area and the towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury. We really enjoyed our stay. Car parking across the road in the hotel car park proved very satisfactory and we enjoyed meals in the restaurant.

Relaxing break

A lovely long weekend in this well-equipped home. Lots of information was provided about the local area, and Pam was very helpful in answering any queries we had. We hope to visit again in the future.

Cosy cottage in great location to explore the Shropshire Hills

The cottage has a cosy lounge, well equipped kitchen and a lovely conservatory. Upstairs there is a master bedroom a second bedroom with twin beds and a good sized bathroom with walk in shower.There is a very nice pub just across the road which serves good quality ale and food.For more options Church Stretton is a short car journey away.

Great property within short distance of excellent walks and amenities. There is an excellent range of books, maps to help plan walks and visits to local attractions. Parking at rear of property can be tricky but parking at hotel opposite is available

Lovely cottage

Very cosy cottage in the heart of the beautiful Shropshire hills, well located to discover the highlights of the region. Well equipped, good bathroom with modern shower. Shops and restaurants close by. We had a great stay, would certainly recommend. Fluid communication with the owner.
