With sleeping spaces for 8 guests, we`ve designed the home for good times and great company, while also being incredibly convenient to everything in the city.

The 1811 House is perfect for urban explorers who want to experience Cincinnati`s downtown, universities, ballparks, museums, and more, without the extra expense of being right in the middle of the action. Located in Cincinnati`s West End neighborhood, you`re far enough from the action that you can still travel on a budget, while being incredibly convenient (just minutes) to everything. It`s been thoughtfully designed so that you can stay in and have a great time cooking, playing games, or relaxing in the hot tub; or going out into the city, just a few minutes` drive, on an adventure.

LIVING AREA: Step into the living space with an open-plan layout. Unwind on the sofa, hang out at the kitchen island, and stream your favorites on the smart TV.

KITCHEN: The well-appointed kitchen is ready for everything from a quick breakfast to a longer stay, featuring an open layout that connects to the living and dining areas.

OUTDOOR AREA: A great outdoor patio with dining, plus a hot tub for relaxing.

BATHROOMS: One half bathroom on the first floor, and two full bathrooms on the second floor.

BEDROOMS: The first floor has one bedroom, with a twin-over-full bunk bed. The other two bedrooms are on the second floor.

Our neighborhood is in the process of redevelopment. It offers an amazing value for guests comfortable with an urban environment, as it is just a few minutes` drive to sports stadiums, downtown, and Over the Rhine. Our immediate block, and several others, are very nicely renovated. That said, you will still see abandoned structures on certain blocks on the drive in, and, on the drive into the neighborhood, you will drive by some affordable housing that will usually have people hanging around outside of it. We love our neighborhood and we know you will, too, but if you`re unfamiliar or uncomfortable with urban neighborhoods, this may present a challenging stay.

This property has a security deposit hold collected by us via credit/debit card. It is similar to an incidentals hold that you would pay at a hotel prior to checking in. At our discretion we may waive this deposit hold. We collect this security deposit through your credit card. It is between $150 - $500 (see the listing check-out page for details).

----------Section 2- Important House Rules (and Consequences) ------------

We strive to provide a polite request to come into compliance with our rules in the event of issues. If the request is not honored then your reservation may be terminated without refund, at our discretion.

SAME-DAY RESERVATIONS: If you are placing a reservation for same-day check-in, please contact us first. If you place the reservation without contacting us first then you may be denied entry, at our discretion.

CONSEQUENCES FOR THROWING PARTIES INCLUDES PROSECUTION: Parties and amplified music are strictly forbidden without our advance, written consent. Under Ohio Revised Code and Cincinnati municipal code, throwing an unauthorized party is considered criminal trespassing. See ORC 2911.21. If you throw an unauthorized party, we may choose to press charges for criminal trespass. You and your guests may be arrested on-site and prosecuted to the full extent of the law, at our discretion. Whether behavior constitutes a party is determined at our sole discretion, but would include things like bringing extra guests into the property, people coming in and out, etc.

NOISE AND DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR: Please observe quiet hours from 9:30pm-8am. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) may be given to come into compliance. If the request is not honored then your reservation will be terminated without refund. Amplified music is strictly forbidden at all hours without our advance written consent.

SMOKING AND FLAMES NOT ALLOWED: Do not smoke or light anything in this property. This includes tobacco, marijuana, incense, candles, hookah, and anything else.

VIOLATING OUR RULES MAY RESULT IN RESERVATION TERMINATION: At our discretion, we may terminate your reservation for a violation of our house rules -- no matter the time of day or night. You will not be refunded and may incur additional fees.

DISHONEST OR ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR: Dishonest behavior may result in termination of your reservation without refund, at our discretion. Abusive behavior will result in termination of your reservation without refund: yelling at, screaming at, swearing at, or menacing members of our team is considered abusive behavior.

WE RETAIN COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE PROPERTY: We reserve the right to terminate any reservation for any reason without refund if we believe, at our sole discretion, that you have done anything or intend to do anything that would harm people or property, disturb our neighbors, or harm the reputation of our property. If we have any reason to believe that you intend to throw a party then you will be denied entry.

----------Section 4 - Additional Fees and how to Avoid Them ------------

The following may incur a fee:
1) Cleanup of human biomaterial (e.g. vomit, defecation) will result in a minimum $300 cleaning fee.

2) Pets and pet hair: Pets are not allowed unless expressly disclosed in your reservation details and will result in termination of reservation without refund if discovered. $300 cleaning fee for cleanup of excessive pet hair, at our discretion.
