Great spot with family

We stayed in this lovely spot for a family members graduation- it was great- plenty of room- There was 9 of us and plenty of room; bedrooms and bathrooms- very comfortable and welcoming.

Cincy Weekend

Our crew gathered in Cincy - enjoyed Jungle Jims, Urban Artifact and Hofbrauhaus. Our accommodations were spot on.. Clean, good location and lots of space

There was trash in front and on side of garage. Basement bathroom had several dead bugs in tub and sink. Front door had tall step up for my in laws. Overall place seemed smaller than expected and needed some general maintenance done all around.

Weekend stay

The house was great and worked comfortably for 8 people. A nice quiet neighborhood. We would stay here again.

It was nice and quiet area. Owner should invest in better pillows! And a Keirug would be nice. Plenty of room.

Plenty of space for our large group

Everything was clean and exactly as the listing said. Responsive hosts. When the coffee maker broke the hosts quickly brought a new one for the next morning. Easy check in.

Family trip

The property had what we needed and a good location. It was overall clean. However, there were a few updates and fixes needed. I communicated to the property manager and she was quick to get back with me. If the fixes/updates were done I would stay there again.

Lots of space for multiple families

6 bedrooms fit our 2 families well. Didn’t get the opportunity to enjoy the fire pit in the backyard but it looks great along with the screened in back porch! Everything was great, the only downside was it is located in a neighborhood that takes a while to get out of. Not that big of a deal but it was definitely something that we all talked about.

Residential peace and Quiet area

Had a great time with friends’ from 50 years ago reunion. 3 bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms. Downstairs had 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Suggestions for large group (we had 9 adults all over age 65)-entrance needs another step—high step to get into house. Add bannister on other side of stairs going to lower level-the stairs are quite steep. Add grab bars to bathroom tubs. Send instructions on how to lick front door when leaving! Host and property manager responded to multiple requests—including bringing us more coffee cups for no. of adults staying. Excellent service. Very clean.

Less Than Average

Mold in bathrooms, crickets roaming the floor, burnt out light bulbs, flickering lights, furnace vents hadnt been changed in what looked like a year (have picture), ants in a bedroom, main area seating for 4 in a home that sleeps 13, & a spider web with a spider in it. Clearly, nobody is paying attention to the cleanliness of this place. At any price, we were not at all happy with this rental experience.

Nice to not share a bedroom

Had a group of five that came for the western and southern tennis tournament. It was a good location only about 10 miles away. We had a group of five women and really only spent a couple hours a day at the home since most of our time was at the tournament. It was nice that all five of us had our own bedroom. There are three bedrooms in the basement with one bathroom and a good size common area. The upstairs had 3 bedrooms and two baths with a small living room. There was a nice covered porch that we enjoyed for our morning coffee and breakfast. If you have more than 5 or six and you want to all be together in the living room it would be tough since it’s a bit tight. It was well equipped and the owner was responsive to questions Most of the beds were fine. We would bring our own pillows if we were to stay here again.

Not what we expected

Upon arrival we noted how tall the grass was. We checked in about 4:30 on the evening of 07-26 and our family wanted to settle in and have a glass of wine only to find out there weren't ANY wine glasses, there were only 4 champagne glasses, 2 rocks glasses, 4 water glasses for a house that sleeps 12. Mom couldn't set down her glass on a side table that was broken from the base. I sat on the chaise lounge part of the couch and one side fell to the floor. (we did inform the seller of each of these things as they kept happening). We were here for a family reunion with my brother who lives in Cincinnatti so one showered the following morning in the hall bath and water leaked down onto another brother getting ready in the basement bathroom (by the buckets full). Then my mom and I needed to prepare baked beans and there was no can opener( good thing I have another brother that carried tools with him in his vehicle so we could pry the cans open) and when we went to take beans out of oven, there were no potholders. (only one kitchen towel). The pan to cook the baked beans in was holding the shelf up in the lower cabinet, so it collapsed. That evening when we came back from our big family day in Cincinnati, we ran the dishwasher and found out it had leaked into a wall and ceiling in one of basement bedrooms. All storm windows are not attached correctly and active wasp nest was in one of them. Brothers also had to tighten DR Table legs and all chairs which were loose

The toilet in the basement bathroom wasn't attached to the floor. The hallway bathroom shower had strutural damage which caused it to leak down to the basement. I contacted the owners who stated that they had known about the problem for a couple of weeks, but hadn't been able to find the leak. The plumber who came to look at the shower stated that he wasn't going to speak to the owners that day about the problems because he was so irritated by them. There was broken glass on the floor behind a bed. There was no exhaust fan in the master bathroom, which is a code violation. There was dust over everything. There were the remains of a smoke detector in the dining room where it had been ripped off the wall. One of the beds was broken and had a sharp metal bar exposed. Several light bulbs were out and most were cold-light. The lawn was only partially mown. The refrigerator icemaker and drinking water didn't work. There was a broken shelf in the cabinet. Lots of scuffs and scratches on the walls that weren't visible in the website photos. The 1 gallon humidifier in the basement filled up and had to be emptied 4 times in our 3 day stay. The area hadn't had rain in 18 days. The leak issues have created a mold problem. My neice walked down to the basement and had an asthma attack. The three people who ended up staying in the basement had to take antihistamines. Three of our guests had to leave after a single night due to the allergy situation. This property shouldn't be rented out.
