Didn't live up to the listing, which caused problems that negatively impacted our stay. Looked clean on the surface EXCEPT for half the dishes were dirty, the bathroom fan was so caked in dust it did nothing, and after walking barefoot on the floors for an hour our feet were black. "Kids" dishes were almost impossible to find (we thought they were tupperware lids...because that's where they were kept/what they looked like). We found no cleaners in the house (except for oven cleaner) so we had to buy cleaners in order to clean the typical spills that occur in kitchens. The clothes dryer was poorly installed, because IT VENTED THE HOT AIR INTO THE CENTER OF THE HOUSE, which meant the home was hot on a 90 degree day and our clothes still ended up damp. Things missing that were advertised in the listing, negatively impacting our stay: 1. kid's playground. 2. Netflix subscription--not normally a deal breaker, but we specifically rented this property for that. 3. Salt or pepper. 4.bbq/grill. Other concerns:1. Decking unsafe for kiddos (big gaps) and rough surface gave the adults splinters.2. Can opener works so poorly those with arthritis,for eg, couldn't use it3. Kitchen more for show than cooking4. Incorrect door and wifi codesWhen I contacted the host on the first night about some of these problems, he was rude and unhelpful. This host doesn't demonstrate hospitality, or the listing would be more honest and the little details would be addressed.

Bunk beds in the lower level room are now removed and a king bed in its place. Overall the cleaners did an adequate job, but the home could use a deep clean. There are some rough areas in the corners, trim, etc when you start really looking around. There were no trash bags to replace filled trash receptacle. Washer/dryer is single use only, extremely small, and the dryer does not dry. We had to hang dry towels and one load of kaundry we tried to do. Overall it was acceptable, and not a terrible experience. Its an older home and the neighborhood appears to be safe. I would probably not stay here again due to the laundry setup.

Great place and it was incredibly clean. There are two things that stopped this from being a 5 star review. (1) we saw two beds in one of the rooms and wanted out daughters to use that room and NOT share a bed. When we arrived, that room had a king size bed in it. So, one of the girls slept on the couch. (2) We had 5 registered guests (my wife, myself, and 3 kids) - we only had 4 towels in the house. I messaged the owner and he didn't respond for almost two days (the VRBO messaging systems sucks). Once I got him on the phone, he was INCREDIBLY responsive and delivered additional new towels right away. He also told me they upgraded the house and added the king bed instead of the two smaller beds.

Clean well maintained home on quiet street.

Home was very clean with comfortable sleeping for my family of 4. There were snacks and a super cushy couch. And the A/C definitely works the basement bedroom was particularly cool which was wonderful since it was over 90* outside. Extra blankets would have been nice for the nights but being too cool in the middle of a Midwest summer is a good problem to have. The bidet was a nice bonus!

Back door

The basic things were ok, except the back door of the room attached to the garage lets in cold air during the night.Also dish soap run out the day before we left so we couldn't wash dishes thoroughly.If management could put an extract bottle of soap on the side in case it runs out would be so helpful.

House is in a very nice neighborhood. It was clean and comfortable. Did not notice in description that there is no dish washer. The tv situation could be improved.

Great Winter Rental for the Week

We stayed here while visiting family over the winter break. The house was very clean, with upgrades throughout the home, and had all the amenities we needed. Our oldest son enjoyed the PS5. The location was central to visiting family on the for west side, while still close to downtown. Victor was also very prompt in addressing our inquiries. We would definitely recommend!

Great Rental!

A group including my sister and our friends stayed here for the weekend and we cannot express how happy we were with this rental! You can fit about two cars in the driveway and then there's space to park on the curb. Everything was set up so nicely and there was a binder with some rules, tips, and some instructions on how things work. There are QR codes scattered about that give you some more information about the rental. The couch in the living room was very comfortable and easily fit our group. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable. The only bump that we encountered was that it got a bit hot during the night for some people, especially in the semi-downstairs area. Other than that we all loved it and had an excellent time. 10/10 to the rental and the host. I would definitely recommend this rental!
