While the rental group that manages this property tried hard to earn a 5-star rating, I just couldn't do it. The listing mentions, "Government-issued photo identification and a credit card, debit card, or cash deposit may be required at check-in for incidental charges", I wish they would have gone one step further and provided specifics. We were asked to sign an additional rental agreement form with very open-ended "term and conditions" (found online by searching,"grand welcome terms and conditions", for those who want to plan ahead). We were also asked to use the third-party site Truvi as part of their fraud prevention check. The good news is Truvi didn't ask for personal info beyond what you'd enter into VBRO, but it's still yet another site you have to provide your personal data to. And, if you book the non-refundable option and are uncomfortable using the third-party site, you're stuck. All frustrations aside from the start of our trip, the house itself is great. It's in what seemed to be a decent part of town, on a street that wasn't super quiet, but not super loud either. The layout, furniture, and design elements in the house are great. Tons of room, with an amazing kitchen, and a fun backyard. The real treat, for those who enjoy these extras, is the fun lighting elements, and artwork throughout the whole house. Bonus points to the team for labeling what each light does. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
