My now husband and I rented this property for our wedding weekend, as we planned to bring our dog with us to our wedding and needed a dog friendly place to stay. This property couldn't have been more perfect for us. It is absolutely adorable, clean, spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need. The host, John, was incredible!! He was very kind, had great communication, responded promptly to any questions we had, and he was extremely accommodating for whatever we needed. We would absolutely stay here again or recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and welcoming place to stay in the Cincinnati area!!

Carriage house is listed exactly as stated. It was very clean and private. The bed was good, comfortable and amenities were lovely. Plenty of towels, blankets, bottled water, and a fantastic shower with great water pressure. Lots of natural light. We had everything we needed and was close drive to everything we wanted to go too. Ease of checking in was good. The lighting along the path from the main house to the carriage house was great, made us feel safe. Backyard has lots of beautiful fragrant flowers and plants. There could be a little trimming done of some of the plants to make it an easier walk back to the carriage house. The area of the carriage house is an upcoming neighborhood, mixture of incomes. We felt safe.We would stay here again.

We had an issue checking in but the owner, Jon was promptly responsive and helped us through everything and resolved our issue! The property was amazing and the backyard was gorgeous and very peaceful. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a huge bonus and we loved the bathroom. Amazing place to stay for a few days!

Cute, unique little house. Jon was there to help us get in. Place was clean, stocked well ans comfortable. While we felt very safe inside the house, we didn't love the location. Love that it was pet friendly. We love being able to take our girl with us.

Fabulous Place to Relax and Refresh!

My husband and I stayed at the carriage house with our 3 cats for 3 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The garden was absolutely beautiful and the carriage house was very charming and comfortable. We had the opportunity to meet Jon in the garden, and he was really great! He has two adorable little dogs that are sweet as can be. He is a very kind and accommodating host. I would recommend the carriage house to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay. We felt very safe and had no issues during our time.

Charming Retreat

On our Thanksgiving adventure to Cincinnati, we were on the lookout for a dog-friendly spot for our furry companion, Snoop. The reservation process was a breeze, and Jon, the owner, was exceptionally kind and accommodating. He communicated seamlessly, responding quickly to all our questions before we made our reservation. The place was beautifully decorated, spotless, snug, and surprisingly serene! Jon provided thorough and straightforward instructions. He is incredibly welcoming to pets, and his dogs, Gracie and Teddy, are just as friendly and charming. I enthusiastically recommend this property to anyone in search of a tranquil and comfortable getaway in the Cincinnati area.

Very nice property in quiet area

We were in the Cincinnati area for the weekend and we needed a place that would accommodate our dogs too. Booking was easy and the property owner, Jon, was very pleasant to interact with and helpful as this was the first time we used Vrbo. Communication with Jon was easy, and he was very responsive to our questions. The place we stayed was beautifully decorated, CLEAN, comfortable, and very quiet! Jon provided specific and clear directions to everything we needed (key access, heater/AC, TV, local area,…) The location while in a urban area in transition we felt safe and all the houses in the area are beautiful and well maintained. There was a large baseball field that allows pets (as long as you pick up after them) about a block away and another park like area at the end of the street perfect for walking the dogs. The garden between the carriage house, where we stayed, and the main house was beautiful with comfortable furniture which we were able to enjoy because the weather was beautiful. There was a garage to park however we didn’t use it because there was plenty of street parking. I would recommend this property if you are in the Cincinnati area and looking for a comfortable, quiet getaway.

Short stay

Very beautiful and cozy place. We actually had an emergency and had to leave early. The host was very understanding. We had to leave early and forgot some clothing. Jon, the host is shipping them to us at no charge! What a human being. Highly recommend!

Beautiful garden and excellent location for exploring Cincinnati

The carriage house on Dayton Street is a great place to stay while visiting Cincinnati. Over The Rhine (OTR) with all its sights and shops is a short walk away. There is an excellent coffee shop nearby. The host provisions the apartment with plenty of coffee and tea, towels and other supplies. The garden is a delight with tropical plants that the host grows from seed each year. The entry is well-lit and secure.
