The place was very nice, clean and better than expected. Lynn was an amazing host and very responsive to our needs. The view was beautiful and it was perfect for what e we needed. We definitely look forward to going back.

It’s a gem!

We loved staying at Squatch Acres!! It is by far the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed! They thought of everything you could possibly need. Beds are comfortable and was plenty of room for our family of 5. The dog was so happy to explore. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed the access combined with the privacy and space around the property. The owners were super responsive and helpful. We’ll be back!!

Great clean property

LOVED the decor! Comfortable, very clean and well-appointed. Our dog loved the big yard and the woods. Fun to fish off the pier. We saw many wild turkeys in the yard and blue herons. Would definitely stay here again.

Great time!

We had a wonderful time! Although in a 'neighborhood', Squatch Acres is a wonderfully remote property with plenty of privacy. The covered porch is huge and perfect for listening to rain or enjoying the owls trying to out 'hoot' each other! The location is quite remote and we luckily came prepared with everything we needed for the first day or so. We will definitely come back!

Weekend Getaway to the lake

Squatch Acres was the perfect spot for our family weekend. Our dogs loved the open grass field. The doc was great to swim and fish from. The drive in through the woods was pretty awesome also. We were able to easily connect our streaming accounts on the TVs to watch sports. Also enjoyed the video game table downstairs. Host was prompt with communication. They made the whole process easy.

In a hollow deep in the woods

Beautiful place and area. Extremely isolated, which is what we sought. Very comfortable and clean. While the lake was still down, we were able to fish and the fishing was very successful. Loved my 3 days of undisturbed fishing. Anyone looking for backwoodsy comfort, this is a gem and a value. All should note that you are at the head of a hollow deep in the woods. This is where the ticks and skeeters live. Be prepared if you plan to trek down the path to the water. Bring repellant. Otherwise, lovely place to get away.

Clean and cozy

The house is extremely clean and well equipped. We would highly recommend planning ahead and bringing your own food as this is a pretty remote location and there is not much in the way of restaurants or shopping. Having said that, we did enjoy the privacy and quiet of the house. Unfortunately, it was cold during our stay and we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we liked but the house was so cozy, it didn't matter!

Property was perfect in all aspects. Only down fall ws the lake was gone. Before we got there which we didn't know. They dropped the lake level alot.

Hospitality was off the charts! Squatch Acres exceeded expectations. The location was beautiful, plenty of hiking to do right out the back door. Home was clean and inviting. Great for traveling with a dog. It is quite easy to get lost out there in the hills, old school written out directions to help us find it would have been great to have, as gps was not accurate. I’ve already thought about planning another stay, two nights wasn’t enough.

FANTABULISTICAL MAGNIFICENT!!!~

So much to brag about this property- peaceful and super quiet, meticulously clean, everything you need for cooking ect., dogs are welcomed. great fire pit, games, fast wifi and TV, semi-private dock which we used every day, Lake Nolin is huge! good barbecue- firewood provided for fire pit, even had Galaga on their arcade game which I am currently the best in the world! haha - everything top notch! Already planning our next trip! Stayed 5 days here but could easily do a month--

Worth the six hour drive

We had planned on visiting many of the local sites, but ended up spending most of our time at Squatch Acres. This place has everything that is needed for a relaxing vacation. If your vacationing with your dog, this place if perfect. It has a large yard and trails to walk.

Pet lover property, awesome private get away

Our search criteria was finding someplace we could bring our large dogs. This property was amazing and had the acreage to let our dogs have fun too. The property was even better in person and SUPER clean. We overpacked because they really thought of everything, especially in the kitchen. We were greeted with a welcome bag full of goodies. There were also snacks which were a welcome site after our long delayed travels. The beds were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the privacy having so much land. Walking to the lake/docks and jumping in was refreshing. There are many activities in the surrounding areas if you want to venture out. Communication with the host was easy and they provided quick replies to our questions. I would highly recommend this property and we would definitely return.
