We were in town for a mid week wedding at nearby Satolah Creek Farm so we didn’t have a lot of downtime to fully utilize the amenities but the home was lovely and very comfortable. It was conveniently located to downtown and close to nearby shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here.

This was the perfect house for our weekend in Clayton! The host was outstanding, and the home had everything — and more — than we could have possibly needed. The grounds are beautiful and spacious, perfect for kids to run and play. It’s also just a pleasant 10-minute walk into Clayton, the quaintest little town with great restaurants and charming boutiques. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay

Perfect Bach Location for an outdoorsy bride

We booked the property for a surprise bachelorette/bday celebration for a friend and it was PERFECT. The house was so well stocked, the amenities were clean, beds were comfy, and the house itself is gorgeous (accurate to pictures). Two notes: 1) room with the 3 twin beds is built for kids and has very low ceilings/sound travels below and 2) the property is quite literally next to a church and in plain sight of a neighbor on the hill. There is Talulah Gorge, wineries, a brewery, and lots of cute shops nearby.

Excellent Property

We hosted family for a graduation celebration weekend. The house and property are top notch all the way around. Attention to detail everywhere is super. The setting is gorgeous and all furnishings and beds are very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has it all- no need to bring stuff from home. We were sad to check out and hope to be repeat guests. Communication was also prompt and thorough. Truly a fabulous experience for our family ages 15-86.

Trash around the grounds, otherwise good

The interior of the cabin was clean and overall nice, with the exception of some nails sticking out of the floorboards and 2 of the 3 main lights in the living room being burnt out. The outside was a different story, with trash from a party strewn around the yard and in one of the gazebos, multiple missing floorboards and tools left out in the same gazebo, a bathtub that we were told would be gone when we saw the place originally, and no power in either of the gazebos even after we were told there would be. The host was responsive and helpful when I explained all of the issues to her, but that still does not excuse the mess in the first place.

Great place to stay near downtown Clayton

This town is a great, quick getaway from Atlanta (especially if you live on the NE side). Lots of good restaurants, charming town, and some mountain air. This property is a great stay. Bordered by a creek, there's a large yard with many places to rest or play.including a large swim spa which is great.

AMAZING HOME AWAY FROM HOME

This VRBO is absolutely amazing. The host thought of everything when designing/decorating the space. The grounds are very peaceful & welcoming. The home is decorated just beautifully & it was immaculate. I pay attention to detail & I truly appreciated how thought out this VRBO was. The hosts communication was excellent. She responded to any questions very quickly & always was able to help me. My friends & I could not stop talking about how wonderful the place was & we have plans to go back again. It has exceeded all of our needs & expectations. I've stayed at many VRBO properties over the years, this one outshines them all.

Great stay in Clayton

Had a great time in Clayton as a family of five. House was very clean. I appreciated the unscented and environmentally friendly cleaning products in addition to the cookware being Green Pan brand. Couches in the living room were extremely comfortable for watching Tv/movies together. The place felt very private despite its proximity to town. (Great for evening meals and walks to the breweries!) The kids enjoyed ping pong and we all enjoyed the hot tub/mini pool (I haven’t seen anything quite like that before).

A fairytale get away cabin. Superb!!

This cabin is extraordinary. It is not missing anything. The location of the property is beautiful and still close to town. The cabin sits on enough acres that you can enjoy your privacy. There are two gazebos. The hot tub is huge and heated just right. Also, very clean. The cabin itself is perfect. It is spotless and decorated so nicely. The owners thought of every detail. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

Perfect for a small event

I hosted a small baby shower for my sister here, and a weekend getaway with our friends. Jen, the host, was extremely responsive and easy to work with. The location was perfect and the space is very well taken care of! I highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Family Christmas at The Lodge

We found the lodge to be exceptionally clean and very comfortable for family gatherings (meals and fun in the pool spa). Everything we needed was on site. It is always a wonderful experience to stay where excellence is achieved. The hosts were so accommodating and kind. We chose to walk into the town of Clayton (1/2 mile) rather than looking for a parking space. The Lodge was serene, secure and spacious. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful Stay!

Had an amazing four-night stay with our extended family over Thanksgiving. The cabin is gorgeous and fully stocked. Check out was easy (such a perk when you’re paying a lot for service and cleaning fees). Owners were friendly and quick to respond. Highlights include spending time in the hot tub/pool, letting our toddler and dog run free in the yard (it’s flat and perfect for games and littles), hiking, reading and lounging outside on the porch. Such a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

Great stay!

This house was a wonderful getaway! Easy walk to the downtown area, short drive to multiple waterfall hikes. The two downstairs bedrooms were wonderful and comfortable for adult couples. The three twin beds upstairs worked great for our young children, but the ceiling is low up there for adults or older children. House was very well stocked and hot tub setup was super fun!! Would definitely stay again.

Delightful Clayton getaway

We chose this property for its curb appeal and convenient location for a nearby wedding. We were delighted that the house was just as described in the listing. It is a beautiful new home with every amenity you’d need for a cozy, comfortable stay. The host was warm, friendly and very considerate in answering questions while planning our trip. I’d highly recommend visiting here for those reasons and the proximity of the house to the quaint town of Clayton . Anything you need is close by and it was a very pleasant experience all the way around. .
