“Positif : Environnement agréable, au calme. Cuisine bien équipée Facilité de contact avec la propriétaire ou gérante. Négatif : Maison vieillissante Propreté moyenne Portes grinçantes, gênant la nuit Lits de 140 (un peu dépassé) et couettes trop petites Odeur persistante de fuel dégagée par la chaudière. Vu la météo, un étendoir à linge d'intérieur serait souhaitable.”

“A wonderful cottage with amazing views! Vincent was a wonderful and responsive host, dropping in to introduce himself shortly after we arrived. It was clean, cozy and comfortable, and knowing he was close by and willing to stop in if we needed anything was famtastic. Thank you!”

Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. “We had a wonderful stay. The apartment offered enough space for our family of 4. The location is perfect! Less than a minute to Clifden’s village center. Our only issue was with the water pressure in the master shower, the shower stopped running when water was being used elsewhere in the apartment. We let the property management company know, so hopefully that will be fixed.”

“Perfect destination for a quiet retreat, which is exactly what we needed. All the little touches and thoughtful extras, make it hard to leave. Only suggestion would be shower setting was difficult and water pressure was low, but hey you are in the country and we totally embraced that. The Sheep and Goat were welcome neighbours. “Très jolie plage à proximité, et balades sur les rochers de granite. Pas reçu les informations pour l’arrivée mais très bon accueil sur place avec l’aide des voisins. Inconvénients : maison un peu humide et système de paiement de l’électricité avec des pièces de 2€ qui s’éteint rapidement en cours de journée. Bon point de départ pour balades ds le Connemara.”

“This cottage was an absolute dream. We arrived on a blowy evening and lit the woodburner in the cosy sitting room. In the morning we awoke to glorious views across a sparkling sea to the Connemara hills, with lambs hopping around the adjacent field. There are stunning walks straight out of the door, including to a beautiful cove just steps away. “We absolutely loved the location of this property!! It is isolated, surrounded by the ocean inlets. Be prepared for the narrow roads and the one lane dirt road that brings you out on the island. It is not modern, but we were not looking for modern. We had everything we needed for our 6 day stay and enjoyed it immensely.”
