The views are amazing and the property offers plenty of options to relax and enjoy them. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. One thing that should be clarified is that even though the listing states that it is a fenced in yard, the property is not fully fenced in, as there is not a front fence. So don't expect to just be able to let your dog out without a leash / tie-out and some supervision. Other than that the property was as described and as shown in the photos. It is a wonderful retreat!

Family Reunion Retreat

This Lakefront Oasis Retreat was spectacular. The view of the lake out of the expansive windows is gorgeous. Pictures don't due justice to just how roomy this house is. Having a nice private backyard was nice for our four legged family member. The neighborhood was very quiet. Thank you Pepper for allowing us to share your home with our family.

Mother's Day weekend

We enjoyed a lovely, sunny, warm weekend relaxing on the deck listening to the waves roll in. We saw a few eagles and even caught an oriole's annual visit! We tried to fish, but not much luck... I appreciated the fresh flowers both inside and outside! The sitting room with a coffee/tea bar off the master suite was perfect...especially since it opened up to a private balcony with chairs to enjoy the fresh air. The hot tub turned out to be perfect after our bike ride in Cuyahoga National Park on the tow path! The kitchen had everything we needed for our Mother's day bfast and the grill was super clean to grill our steaks the night before! We made it just in time before the Mayflies started to arrive too! We were close enough to Cleveland to have dinner out...I hope to make this an annual tradition! Thank you for having us!!

Clean, modern upgrades and very beautiful! The views of Lake Erie were outstanding. We enjoyed the hot tub and the entire home. Beds were all very comfortable. Very responsive host - would return and recommend!

A Slice of Heaven

Our four days at Mentor-on-the-Lake were truly delightful. The attention to detail was impressive, from the Q-tips to the owner personally coming by to move the trash cans. I particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the scenic view of Lake Erie. The sunroom was an absolute delight, and I loved the beautiful book collection. It was refreshing to have no televisions in two of the three bedrooms. Despite the sadness that brought us there, it was a lovely getaway—a true slice of heaven. The fireplace was wonderful, efficiently heating the entire house.

We enjoyed an amazing fall getaway - this property lives up to its description and reviews. That view through the sliding glass doors and the two decks - Lake Erie did not disappoint! Well stocked kitchen, extras like fresh flowers, toiletries in case you forgot something, books to read, and fun and unique beach decor. You can't see the sunset from the property in late October, but Sunset Park is an easy 5 minute drive and we saw beautiful sunsets there each night of our stay. And that hot tub - the perfect way to end a busy day, relaxing under the stars. I'd definitely recommend a stay here.

Family Weekend At Lakefront Oasis Retreat

We had a wonderful weekend at our lakefront home. Everything was as per the listing--an immaculate, private, welcoming lakefront home, with all the amenities mentioned in the listing. We enjoyed taking a walk in the neighborhood, going to Headlands Beach (an easy 20 minute drive) and going into historic downtown Willoughby (an easy 15 minute drive) for lunch. The Lakefront Oasis Retreat is a great stay place that I am happy to recommend to others.
